My personal opinion.

We found a very clean site, with all the facilities what you need, the lady from the reception very helpful. Totally recommend.

Amazing stay

Beautifully clean site, all amenities catered for, lovely friendly staff, nice farm shop and pub just around the corner , weather was crazy but we all survived it, this site is a family friendly side with great walks and was clean, dogs welcome and catered for too , we will definitely visit again

Great night stay

Our hardstanding pitch had faulty electrics when we arrived. The manager immediately moved to us to another pitch without any issues and we tucked into our single night stay. The site was nice and clean. No club house, but a unique 24 hour vending machines with food, coffee and tea etc. Would stay again.

Lovely stay, very clean site

Lovely clean site nice size pitches, staff what worked there was lovely. Had a nice field for the dogs to run about in. Just found not quite enough showers for the amount of people what's on site, thought the vending machine was a lovely idea.

Friendly

Friendly welcome. Great walks from the site into Abbotsbury. Will choose pitches backing on to the little stream next time as we have a lead reactive dog and those pitches afford more privacy.

Great location and outstanding facilities

This is the first time we have stayed at Portesham Dairy Farm Campsite and we were extremely impressed from the moment we arrived. The warm welcome, site security, pitch position. The facilities were first rate. Highly recommended. Also, it's based in a lovely village.

Excellent

Excellent campsite - lovely friendly helpful staff, great pitches, the toilets and shower block were immaculate - great heat adjustable showers. Cannot rate this site highly enough! We will definitely be back xx

Good location and nice showers

A lovely campsite with a great location and nice showers. The location makes it easy to go either way along the Jurassic coast. The staff are friendly and the vending machines are handy for out of hours snacks. The grass pitches are a bit small compared to other sites we've stayed at but we still loved our holiday there.

Lovely site

A very clean and welcoming site. Toilets and showers amongst the best I've seen with a very unique, but convenient vending area for snacks, milk, ice cream etc. Close proximity to a farm shot and pub, both of which we used and can highly recommend. A short distance to Weymouth where you can find all you require from a seaside town and more. Some lovely beach cafes. I recommend Billy Winters and there are beaches as far as you can see, perfect for water sport enthusiasts. Lovely short stay, would highly recommend the site.

Fantastic site

Fantastic location with ready access to walks, a café and pub. Staff on site really friendly and helpful. Facilities very clean and well equipped. In summary, a fantastic site with great facilities, ideally located for exploring the surrounding area. Will definitely be coming back and highly recommend.

Lovely site

Really lovely site - the pitch was great and the facilities really lovely and clean. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and the milk vending machine was really handy. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to come back.

Well kept site close to the pub and deli

We stayed here in our campervan with 2 young children and another family. They accommodated our request for adjoining pitches. We were impressed with the size of the grass pitches and that a power cable was already set up to connect to. We liked the fact that it was a short drive to some great locations, Weymouth was only 15 minutes away. There is a lovely pub and deli/farm shop within a short 5 minute walk too. We liked the onsite vending machines which helped us keep on top of milk without needing a run to the shops.

Perfect stay

Friendly welcome to a very clean and attractive site. Great dog walking facility on site. Excellent 24 hour vending machine services including fresh milk and ice cream. Location was fantastic with farm shop and cafe across the road and reasonable pub 5 mins walk away. Walk to nearby Abbotsbury village and then onto the coast was a lovely day out.

Amazing, all year campsite

Thank you for such a wonderful stay Portesham. The campsite is beautiful, everything is clean and well kept. The vending machine is a touch of class and offers everything that you could possibly need. The village is stunning and the local pub could not have been more friendly and welcoming. 20 minutes away from Weymouth. We will return!

Super campsite

Wonderful campsite. Very friendly and helpful reception team. Facilities super clean. Great vending machines for 24 hour snacks, milk, ice-cream and orange juice. Close to pub and farm shop. Dog-friendly with lovely walks on the doorstep. Ideally located for visiting wonderful Dorset.

Unknown to us, but a real gem

So surprised as we arrived! Loads of people there, but still plenty of room. Secure entry/exit, 24/7 vending machines for snacks, coffee, and real milk. Clean facilities with plenty of hot water.

Great, peaceful location

We had an unplanned stay at Portesham after our booked campsite flooded. They could not have been more accommodating at Portesham, enabling us to pitch before the official arrival time. The site is lovely; well maintained and excellent clean facilities. We loved the dog exercise field, with added rabbits to chase for Ruby! It's a great location for exploring Dorset, with a pub and farm shop within a five minute walk too!

Amazing site

An amazing site with great facilities. The staff were lovely and friendly, we have 3 dogs and they loved the big field to run around in. There were some great places to visit nearby, we had 10 nights and the weather was been beautiful. It had great onsite vending machines where you can get a lot of different things, the milkshakes were lovely. A 5 star site which I would visit again.

Will definitely return

This site was really well kept and the facilities were spotless. We arrived just at the end of the summer holidays so there was plenty of space in between the pitches. The showers were really really good (but I do wonder what the queues would be like at peak season). The walks for the dog were superb direct from the campsite. The farm shop was an added bonus, with delicious home made products. The local pub was also very good. I would highly recommend this site. The only observation is that it was hard to drag the waste water over the gravel path to the tipping point - so maybe a little concrete path would make it easier for us oldies?
