A fantastic find
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Recently stayed 4 nights here, wish it could have been longer.
If you want a beautifully, peaceful site with very generous pitch spaces set up in a way that feels like your private space with endless stargazing opportunities and the odd wildlife visitor, then Rowbury Farm is for you.
Run by lovely friendly people who have their customer's interests absolutely at heart, who seem to know what is important to us campers. There are hot drinks and freshly baked pastries, very reasonably priced, available from the shepherds hut daily, you can top up on your freshly grown salad veg too! The large freezer was a godsend on a hot stretch and the clean, hot showers, some of the best we've come across.
When our, sometimes, hot and dry weather allows, you can use their fire pits and no problems using BBQs raised of the ground.
Lots of lovely places to visit and great walks close to the site. We'll be back for sure! A fab stay.

Very good value but could easily be improved with some extra bathrooms. Cleaning and direct access to walking and the pubs. It's a quiet road but for those with dogs is the road for at least 1km to get off on those paths.
Pitches are massive and we love the arrangement for park how you like!

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Fantastic! Shame we couldn't have a fire pit as the wheat was still not harvested and the risk of fire too high but apart from that, it was peaceful and perfect.

Thank you for the review. Sorry about the temporary fire ban. There had been a number of wildfires locally and we take safety extremely seriously. Fires are back on as the weather has changed!

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Lovely site, cut in to the meadow grasses.
Very friendly and welcoming owners. No electric pitches, so modern technology seemed less intrusive and the sounds were of families enjoying some analogue fun. A number of groups on site but no intrusive noise in the evening and very quiet at night. Some epic rain during stay but ground remained solid and no problems getting the van off.
For the level of facilities provided I would say the prices were fairly high but definitely worth it for the experience. Plenty to do within walking distance. We will definitely be back!

An example of how a campsite should be run
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 From the great location, generous pitch sizes, clean facilities and friendly and accommodating staff, we had a great time. Steve and Becky went above and beyond in making sure we had everything we needed; they even charged our phones for us when we got a bit stuck!
They were great in keeping the site running smoothly and, in my opinion, how a campsite should be run, with minimal noise, partying, shouting and so on. Just peace, quiet and the sounds of nature.
I can't recommend this campsite enough!

A peaceful spot on earth
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 The site is very spacious and well-organized, and the owners are very accommodating. The facility is very clean. You feel at home in this peaceful spot. It's an ideal base for visiting various attractions, including Stonehenge. There's a well-stocked grocery store right around the corner. Highly recommended!

Lovely, peaceful, off the beaten path, back to nature
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 Perfect location really, so close to Winchester, but also in the Test valley, nestled among a handful of absolutely stunning villages, lovely pubs, great walks.
The site itself is fairly simple in regards to facilities - toilets, showers, little onsite coffee-shop part time open, still that is all that's needed. So peaceful, you can hear the birds sing in the morning and evening, as there's only a country road nearby. It's almost like a re-set back to nature. Well organised, great place to pitch-up for a few days whilst exploring the local area, which is what we did. Or get some fire logs into the fire-pits and watch the stars at night.
Definitely coming back.

Stayed to watch the BTCC and loved the campsite
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 We loved the way the field has plants as dividers to separate other campers, it gives a lovely atmosphere to the camp.
The facilities were nice and clean and the little breakfast bar was a nice touch along with their cheap pastries! Myself and 2 other mates came to watch the BTCC and decided to stay at this amazing campsite!
We will definitely be returning to this campsite in August for the BSB. 10/10 would recommend.

Fabulous campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 Lovely campsite, lots of patches of wild flowers, we went to sleep to the sound of owls.
Toilet block facilities great - hot, clean showers.

First family camping experience
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 Our first family camping trip was a great success, the team at the campsite were friendly and attentive, and the setting itself was peaceful and well laid out.
The heated showers and bathroom block were spotless.

Camping
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 Had a lovely stay in Vera, our Campervan, at Rowbury Farm. We were very lucky with the weather. There was plenty of space and did not feel crowded at all.
The site was very clean, facilities were good and the hosts were great and extremely helpful. Having a fire pit was an added bonus. We will be back.

Sep 2024 Really nice peaceful site with big pitches and lots of space for children to run about. So good to be able to buy wood and use the firepits.

Wonderful views and clean facilities
Aug 2024 My Wife and I stayed at Rowbury Farm on the August Bank holiday weekend. It was busy, yet the facilities remained clean and well maintained all weekend.
The pitches are very generous, with plenty of room for your setup and a car. The views are wonderful, with dark skies at night. The logs for a campfire were fairly priced, the Manager was very helpful.
I would definitely stay again.

Family camping
Aug 2024 I came with my family and what a pleasure it was to stay here again. The toilets and showers were clean and the fields were absolutely spotless. To top it off, they have a coffee hut and sell ice cream cakes, coffee and drinks.
Absolutely amazing and my kids loved it here, we can't wait for the next season to return.

Aug 2024 We have stayed at Rowberry Farm several times now. Lovely big plots, super clean facilities (plenty of hot water).
