Set close to the Offa's Dyke Path, the site is a walker's paradise providing a glamping base for families looking to explore the valley and surrounding areas. With space for children to roam around freely and glorious panoramic views, it is an ideal spot to unwind. All of the yurts - Bramley, Pippin, Russet and Bess - include a double bed, two single beds and bedding, whilst a third single bed can be provided for families with three children. A dining area inside provides you with a place to eat after rustling up dinner over the fire pit outside. A woodburning stove will also keep you warm if it gets chilly. The shepherd's hut - Crispin - includes a double bed and two single bunk beds. A dining and relaxing area can be found in the adjacent hut with a small outside seating area to take in the scenery. Each accommodation has its own private outdoor cooking area with a fire pit. The site can provide al fresco cooking recipes, or you can hire the wood fired pizza oven and make pizza from scratch, with ingredients available too! The valley is home to lots of wildlife. It is famous for its population of native red kites and there are also regular visits from buzzards, sparrow hawks, owls and woodpeckers so be sure to bring binoculars. Dogs are welcome in the yurts, as long as they are sheep friendly and kept on a lead. There is also plenty of nearby countryside for them to run in. Sorry, pets are not allowed in the shepherd's hut.
