Enjoy the family run atmosphere from this base, easily accessed by the nearby A65 and just a 15 minute walk from the local village centre with its welcoming pub. A 10 minute hop takes you to pretty Horton-in-Ribbesdale for great days out or the start of the Three Peaks. The site's eight pitches include grass electric pitches for tents and a hardstanding area for tourers, which are just a short walk from the facilities. The site is fed by a pretty little stream and offers a spacious field at the bottom for recreation, too. Seasonal pitches are also available.
The site is not currently accepting bookings due to the Coronavirus outbreak. It would normally be open from Easter until the end of October.

Hours of fun is in store for kids, playing in the stream that winds gently through the campsite, skimming stones and watching for tiny plants and fishes in the water.
Many put their best foot forwards on the classic Three Peaks, with the start a handy 4 miles from this great base. Or, take on 130 miles of stunning countryside with your bike or horse and turn the Pennine Way into your stomping ground.
Heading coast to coast on the Way of the Roses? Silloth House is right on the route, timed to match the moment your legs start to long for a great night's sleep and a hot drink.
