About the site
This peaceful, adult only campsite is set in 12 acres of well drained paddocks. The surrounding area is quiet and rural, a great home for wildlife, especially curious owls which have given the site their name!
For tents only, there are five non electric 4m x 8m grass pitches. All of the pitches allow up to six guests and there is plenty of room for everyone to be well spaced out.
If you are looking for a fully serviced pitch, there is the option of both grass and hardstanding. Each comes with a 10 amp electric hook up (metered onsite), a water tap and grey waste drainage.
The onsite pond is also a great spot for experienced adults who hold a current rod licence (at an extra cost and closed in April).
Dogs are also welcome onsite, with up to two permitted per pitch. The area is packed full of glorious walking routes for you and your four-legged friends to enjoy too.
If you want to enjoy an evening onsite, gas and charcoal BBQs are more than welcome, just please ensure they are raised from the ground. Please note, no wood to be burnt and no open fires/fire pits are allowed.

Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding PitchesNov 2024
Little Owl is in a rural setting, ideal for a retreat from the hectic everyday working life.
The owner is very pleasant and helpful. The toilet block is almost new and is absolutely spotless, with plenty of hot water available instantaneously. Many pitches (grass included) are serviced with tap and grey water drainage plus 10 amp with electricity.
We heard an owl most nights and the owner says there are deer to be seen.
There is fishing on site and although we didn't try it, we did see the owner returning from feeding the fish. There is a decent sized Tesco about seven miles away at Market Rasen and a Co-op a similar distance away at Caistor.

Large Tent - Fully Serviced Grass PitchesSep 2024
The location of this camp is amazing if you are looking for a quiet and rural spot.
The site has really good and clean showers, toilets, and utility room.
The only downside was the people constantly walking around and checking on everyone, it felt little intrusive. They were checking what wood we using for our BBQ and giving us an education about fire safety.
Site's response
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and we hope you enjoyed your break.
We do wander around and check the site periodically, to make sure everyone is happy and that there are no problems with our guests. This is also to make sure that the rules are being adhered to, regarding campfires and the burning of wood, which is strictly forbidden due to the fire risks.
