About the site
This peaceful site is the perfect place to admire the natural surrounding beauty of the Isles of Lewis and Harris. Nestled in North Lewis, opposite a gorgeous rocky beach, the site is ideal for a secluded getaway. It offers sturdy and spacious hardstanding pitches - the ideal place to park your tourer - complete with 240v electric hook up. Explore the coastline, or visit nearby attractions such as the Butt of Lewis Lighthouse, or the Borve Country House Hotel for some excellent food and drink. Dogs are welcome.

Site rules and policies
UOG CAMPSITE - Site Specific Rules and Regulations
The following rules and regulations are in place for the safety and enjoyment of all users of the campsite facilities.
• Check in is after 2pm and check out is before 10am
• No campfires, BBQ's, fireworks or Chinese lanterns
• Keep noise levels down particularly early in the morning or late at night
• Keep dogs on a lead and do not leave dogs unattended in vehicles. Dog waste must be picked up immediately
• Flying of drones is not permitted
• Do not charge an electric vehicle unless you are using a designated electric vehicle charging point
• Do not bring additional camp beds/tents to the site. The maximum number of visitors cannot exceed the number your campervan sleeps.
• Leave the camping bay free from rubbish
• Leave toilets and washing up area clean and tidy
• Dispose of rubbish in the appropriate bins
• Dispose of waste in the appropriate disposal unit
• Vehicles must not exceed 10mph
• Respect Wildlife
• Be considerate of other campers
