The luxury tents are nestled in three acres of meadow and can comfortably sleep up to five people. About Savage Glamping

Savage by name but certainly not nature, this small luxury campsite is run by friendly couple Lucy and Ross. Set just outside the village of Earl Soham in Suffolk, this tranquil glamping retreat is the perfect place for friends, families or couples to unwind and recharge. It's also available for exclusive hire, making it the ideal venue for a birthday or reunion to remember. The site consists of only six bell tents set amongst three acres of private meadow. Each tent can comfortably sleep up to five, furnished with king-sized double beds and three premium camp beds (available upon request). A wood burner and thick, warm bedding will keep you toasty at night. You can also expect your own fire pit, BBQ, picnic table, lanterns, fluffy blankets and hot water bottles. Just remember to bring your own towels! Having several young children themselves, the owners are on a mission to remove all the hassle from camping with kids, leaving you time to relax and unwind. With a pre-pitched tent, cosy premade beds, flushing toilets, a large communal kitchen and a kids play area, family camping will suddenly feel like a doddle. The site also offers breakfast hampers, BBQ hampers, picnic hampers and cheese and wine hampers, as well as onsite activities such as kids' arts and crafts, holistic wellness treatments and adventure activities led by a team of fully qualified outdoor instructors. Book in advance to avoid disappointment. If you want to check out Suffolk's reputation for being home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the U.K, you'll be pleased to know Southwold, Aldeburgh, and Thorpeness are all half an hour's drive away. Campfires are allowed in the firepits provided and you'll receive a complementary pack of logs, kindling and firelighters. Dogs are not permitted, sorry!

Facilities and amenities

Onsite you'll find two large family bathrooms with electric showers, loos, organic hand soap and body wash, two extra toilets, a fully equipped communal kitchen with fridges, a freezer, oven, toaster, kettle and microwave, a washing machine, a wooden children's play area, and a communal stretch tent with tables and seating.

There's also a 'pick and prune' herb garden which guests are free to use.

Huttons, an award-winning butchers and deli, is in the village, a ten minute walk away. There's also a Co-op and many other shops in Framlingham, a ten minute drive away.
