Small Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric)Jul 2022

My partner and I stayed here for one night with a tent and really enjoyed our stay. It was great how we could park our car on the pitch next to the tent, instead of having to leave it in a car park. This made things a lot easier. It was a smooth checking in process and the staff were lovely and helpful. Showers and toilets were clean and well kept. Really liked how after 6pm, the electronic gate to the area is closed and can only be opened by a code which is given to you upon arrival. This made us feel safe. Would stay again :)

Lovely, calm, quiet site

Medium Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric)Jul 2022

We liked that the pitches were quite spacious and it was very open, green and calm. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside to the site was that it was difficult to get out of the site as a pedestrian, we couldn’t figure out how to open the gates and relied on cars going on/off site to open the gates.

Nice place

A lovely flat site with an excellent layout. We camped in the middle field which was perfectly placed, our children could safely play with other campers while we could supervise from the comfort of our camping chairs.

Small Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric)May 2022

Really wonderful little stay. We knew we might be arriving quite late so Kelly called us and made sure we had the details of our pitch and anything else we needed before our trip. The pitches are a great size. The site wasn't very busy but we felt that even if it had been full, there would be a lot of space between each pitch. The bathrooms were some of the nicest I've ever seen on a campsite, I was particularly pleased by the sink cubicles as I get a bit funny when people can see me brushing my teeth. We didn't use the shop but grabbed our morning coffee from the cafe and the team member that served me was lovely and chatty. Really put a smile on my face (which is tough to do before the coffee enters my system 😂). For dinner we walked to a local pub, it took about 25 minutes but it was a lovely walk and then it only took us 10 minutes to get to the seafront when we left today.

A great site!

Single Axle Caravan - Hardstanding Pitches (Optional Electric)Apr 2022

Great 3 nights away. Showers/toilets were spotless and we had a fab breakfast at the café onsite. Huge pitches. Quiet and rural, so nice and peaceful.

Overflowing drain and noise

Single Axle Caravan - Hardstanding Pitches (Optional Electric)Mar 2022

Very disappointed as was looking forward to a couple days of rest and peace and quiet. On the day of arrival, there were gardeners chain-sawing down the trees and we couldn't hear ourselves think, let alone relax. We were put right next to an overflowing drain knowing we had a dog with us.. it became quite an issue. We were the only caravan on the park so unsure why we were put next to an overflowing drain. I understand that maintenance has to be done, but this could have been done when the park was closed. I do feel £40 a night out of season was very expensive. On the plus side, the staff (receptionist) were very friendly and polite and the park was clean and in a lovely location. I would like to go back to the park and hope these issues are resolved.
