Llansawel Agored is a peaceful off-grid camping and glamping site in the stunning Carmarthenshire countryside, perfect for enjoying the outdoors. Located 25 minutes from the famous Brecon Beacons National Park, this family-friendly site offers the perfect base for a relaxing off-grid getaway. Guests can spend their day taking part in fun activities like paddleboarding on the Brecon Canal, and evenings unwinding under a starry night sky around the campfire. Tents can pitch up on one of the site's four deluxe non electric grass pitches each measuring 20m x 20m with plenty of space for peace and quiet for everyone. Guests on these pitches will have their own undercover camp kitchen equipped with a cool box, along with a separate compost loo. Outside you will also have a picnic bench and fire pit, perfect for alfresco dining. For those who prefer glamping, the site has two charming bell tents on offer. Each is equipped with one double, two single and two z-bed mattresses, though linen and bedding is not provided. There is also a wood-burning stove so you stay cosy on those cooler evenings. Each of the 6m bell tents also has an undercover camp kitchen fitted with a gas stove, cool box, a table, crockery, utensils and USB chargers. Alongside, you will also have an eco loo, fire pit, seating and a smores kit for you to enjoy around the campfire! Please note, this is a pet free site. Guests must also be a Greener Camping Club member, but this can be purchased when you book.
Camping is available from the end of April to 1st October, bell tents from 16th May to 10th September.

If you're looking to get involved in activities, the site has a whole host on offer for you to choose from. Pick from archery, bushcraft, paddleboarding and canoeing, all a great way to enjoy the outdoors and discover the local area.
Dinefwr Castle is also just a 20 minute drive from site, a glorious castle with marvellous views over the surrounding countryside. The 12th century house is surrounded by a deer park with picturesque walking routes around the grounds.
Brecon Beacons National Park is also just a 25 minute drive away, perfect if you're searching for walking trails or cycle paths. You can even head to the Red Kite Feeding Station (35 minutes) and see the magnificent birds of prey come down to get their next meal!
