Guests have access to all the site facilities, such as the restaurant and café, as well as a grassy glade next to the campsite area for picnicking. This is an excellent spot for watersport lovers, with kayaking, canoeing and more available onsite. You can also hire a boat for the day and explore the River Ouse, heading downstream to Naburn lock or upstream to the historic city centre of York. The site often hosts festivals and live music events over the summer, so why not try to coincide your stay with some festivities? The Howardian Hills AONB and Leeds can be reached in 40 minutes. Well behaved dogs are welcome but no campfires, sorry!
