Clear filters Impressed
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches (Family Friendly) Dec 2024 We decided it would be a good idea to say during storm Darragh (it was not a good idea), our tent poles snapped on the second day. However, the staff were amazing to us, accommodating for our late arrival and offering us sheltered accommodation.
The facilities like the showers and toilets were very good. The pitch was mediocre, since the ground is very rocky and didn't like taking tent pegs. With some effort they went in, only coming out after the storm hit which, we can't blame on the site.
We also decided against staying in the pod they offered to us since it had a leaky roof and it was absolutely pouring.
We will come again on account for the staffs service, other facilities and the location, I just don't recommend going in a tent during a red weather warning.
Fantastic site
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches (Family Friendly) Nov 2024 Our stay was extremely comfortable, the site is lovely and very well maintained. The toilet facilities were so clean. We were greeted at reception with a very welcoming attitude and felt very at ease during our relaxing stay.

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Pitches (Family Friendly) Oct 2024 The staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was a lovely site and only a five minute walk into the village, where we had a wonderful lunch in one of the pubs.
My only small negative would be it did get a bit boggy (but you can't help the weather ). The staff did put down wire and grids not to get stuck.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches (Family Friendly) Aug 2024 The site is super clean and well kept, the staff are very friendly and can be seen around site throughout the day. I have only placed 4 stars for.location purely based on the fact if you are going for waterfalls and walks you will need to drive however, the site is located just a small walk away from a very pretty village which is one of the best we have drove through. It has amazing pubs that serve delicious food.
Highly recommend staying at this site and we will probably venture back again soon too. Thank you.

My only thing that I would recommend is making pitch sizes bit bigger, as felt you were on top of the next person.

Very good facilities with just a few little niggles but the owners were keen to put it right - just lock on toilet door not working and slipping toilet seat.
Very close to Llandovery village with Co-op and Nisa stores as well as independent shops.

All staff were friendly and welcoming, as well as being extremely helpful with where was good to go for food and drink.
It was our first time to the site and will not be our last.
The campsite was clean, quiet, and had great facilities. The option of hiring a fire pit was great. The heat it threw off for the two nights we had it was brilliant.
