Lovely place to stay

Found the site to be well kept with great facilities and a friendly welcome. The pitches are a good size that are marked out. It wasn’t busy during our stay so very relaxed with a beautiful riverside walk one way and a great dog friendly pub that provides good food 5-10 mins walk the other way. Will definitely go back.

Windy

Absolutely superb stay! If it wasn't for the weather, winds 65-80mph in a tent made for a fun few nights, but we weathered the storm and had a really good time! Great host and really good shower/toilet facilities.

Second stay here and loved it

This was our second time at the campsite within a few weeks and albeit slightly different due to the weather and having three children with us this time it was still a fabulous stay!! The facilities were spotless again. Owners very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Will definitely book again!

Wonderful site

Fabulous site, lovely people who are very friendly. Shame about the weather. My boys, aged 9 and 14, loved it.

Beautiful site in a beautiful location with stunning views

Beautiful site in a beautiful location with stunning views when you could see them :-) The site was spotless and the owners were lovely, approachable and helpful. The riverside walk on your doorstep was fantastic. Close to Barnouth and just over 30mins from Porthmadog with lots of spectacular beaches along the way. Flat campsite, easy to access and large camping spaces Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful place with sea view in the distance

A beautiful, quiet spot. The restrooms were very nice and clean. The showers cost £1 for six minutes, which I felt was a bit of a stretch. Toilet paper and soap are provided. In the early evening, there were mosquitoes around, so unfortunately we couldn't sit outside for two hours. A very friendly welcome. (translated from German)

Amazing stay

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night and it was amazing. We booked it last minute as decided to go for a bit of an adventure, packed the tent and headed off. Just a short drive from Barmouth beach where we spent most of our day on Saturday we looked for a nearby campsite and found this little gem. The toilet / shower facilities were spotless!! Added bonus that the site is dog friendly! There is a little pub just a short walk away where we went for the evening. Will definitely be booking again! Thank you 🤩

Superb site

We were in a VW Campervan plus side tent. Brilliant campsite. Friendly owners. We love a site were you can choose your own pitch. Great views. Toilet facilities excellent. Although I imagine there would be a queue for showers when the site is full. It would be good to have water tap facilities in the second field. Having said that, we love the fact that the site isn't commercial or over-developed. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

Absolutely loved the site owner, was lovely really helpful

Pitches were spacious. Showers were lovely and warm. Toilets were spotlessly clean. Lovely to see the lambs and lamas. Will definitely be back, really enjoyed our stay. We were lucky to get sea view. Lovely pub 10 mins walk served lovely food. Shops about 20 mins walk with all essential, even a butcher in the Spar. Garage opposite.

First touring holiday

Lovely stay for our first touring weekend away. Close to Barmouth town and beautiful beach just a drive away.

welsh mini break

we would recommend this campsite as for us the location was perfect, both a bus stop and train station within easy walking distance. the campsite facilities were great clean and tidy. our pitch was of a good size and had both mountain and sea views. should we be back in the area we will definitely be returning

Really nice and peaceful site. Owners were really nice and accommodating. Really good space and looked like a great site for families with small children.

Peaceful with lovely views

Cracking views from the second field across to the sea and lovely sun sets. A very quiet site with some permanent caravans but the second field for travelling tents, MH, Campers etc flat with EHU. Nobody available upon arrival but a quick phone call to Steve and it was sorted. No pressure to pay remaining balance on arrival, in fact when I did go to pay when leaving it was discounted due to the time of year, result! Thanks. Easy walk to the beach and a local pub. If you are after peace and quiet with accessibility to Barmouth, the beach and a pub, this is it.

Fantastic site

Great site everything you need is close by, train station very close. Well done to the staff, they were extremely helpful, would definitely recommend.

Great Campsite

We havnt stayed in many campsites but this is by far the best one, make sure to have some £1 coins for the shower but it is SO worth it, and having a washing up station inside was just great. Really clean, Would definitely recommend and stay there again. Diolch

Nice

A fab one night stay. Found this campsite, it was a very handy place and close to the beach we like. It was perfect for one night. There was a little camp log fire. It was very windy, which stopped us having BBQ. Clean loos, they were right next to our plot.

Great place

Only 5 miles out of Barmouth and within walking distance of a great pub, this is a lovely campsite. We were able to pitch our tent with a sea view (albeit in the distance). Clean toilets and showers (note you need pound coins or 20p pieces to operate, so we didn't have a shower the first morning 😀 - the campsite could do with offering change). Good washing up facilities together, with a freezer where you can freeze your blocks. Also a fridge.

Great campsite

Very good campsite, lovely and clean. The owners are very friendly and having a local pub in walking distance was brilliant. Great walks for dogs nearby. Views were stunning.
