Small Tent - Non Electric Meadow Camping Pitches (5m Diameter) Aug 2026

Really lovely quiet and clean campsite with widely spaced pitches. Excellent location. We visited Stackpole Estate including Barafundle Bay and spent most of a day at Pembroke Castle. Milford Haven is right next door too. We had a small tent pitch with a table and wooden shelter in the lower meadow, just off the top of the hill enough to be sheltered from the wind but still with a view. Toilets and washing up are were clean and in good condition. We found only one shower cubicle had any water but it had good pressure, good temperature control and plenty of space. Only one thing could have been better. The roof on the wooden shelter at the pitch leaked terribly so although it gave shade it wasn’t really useful when it rained.

Great eco stay

Medium Tent - Non Electric Woodland Camping Pitch (Shelter)Apr 2025

Overall, it was a great stay but there were a couple of surprises! Love the way the pitches are all spaced apart so you really do have a lot of quiet space. The pitch had a lot more than your usual campsite and would be brilliant for longer stays. The toilets, showers and wash up areas were all great too - the showers especially were quite spacious, with plenty of room for your clothes and to get changed. The way it was set out was brilliant, to feel very secluded but still really close to the facilities. There were a couple of minor bits which probably wouldn't have impacted our decision to book (and we'd definitely come back!) but are worth mentioning. It was a shame the hot tub was listed, especially so prominently, on the advert when the sign says that it is out of action this year. I think we probably would have still came here for everything else the site has to offer, but this was one of the factors we considered, and would expect the hot tub to be removed from the listing if it won't be available for guests to use this year. We also weren't expecting to wheelbarrow our gear to the tent, as we're used to parking next to the pitch. Had we known, we probably still would have chosen the woodland camping as it was beautiful and secluded but it wasn't what we were expecting - so that could also be a little bit clearer for others. It's actually a great idea to have the pitches away from the cars, so you can be more immersed in nature. It may be an improvement too to get a few mini trailers instead of the barrows as well, as they would be a bit sturdier and you could probably load a bit more in them, to reduce the number of trips. But overall, we had a lovely stay. It was great to park under the wind turbines and everything about the site lived up to the eco escape name. See you again!

Peaceful, non commercial spacious campsite

Medium Tent - Non Electric Meadow Camping Pitches (No Shelter) Apr 2025

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eco Escape Campsite. It's a very peaceful, spacious site that is a true example of environmentally friendly/low impact. All the facilities available are well considered, efficient and clean. It's location is great. With direct access onto the coastal path and also easy access to the rest of Pembrokeshire by car. Our dogs had a lovely time as well and the starter pack of fire wood is recommended - a camping must enjoyed in the fire pit (which each site has). The owners and neighbouring farmer (both who we met) we incredibly friendly and welcoming - sharing some ideas of where to visit and what to do. Will be back for sure!

Fabulous site, a hidden gem

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Meadow Campervan PitchAug 2024

Fantastic communication all the way through. Lovely campsite with lots of space. Nice to see families playing and not glued to gadgets. Great location next to the Pembroke Coastal Path. Simple but lovely.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Meadow Camping Pitches (No Shelter) Aug 2024

The site itself was beautiful, and the facilities were amazing too. There were really good vibes on site, from other campers and from Keith who came to check in with us and make recommendations, which were much appreciated. The site is within walking distance from Milford Haven and easy driving distance from some epic beaches. We loved our stay here.
