Lovely!! despite the rain
Medium Tent - Fully Serviced Grass Pitches Sep 2025 We were originally anxious to camp in a tent during our stay as the weather forecast was getting increasingly worse during the build up of us going away.
Once we came onto site we were greeted at reception and check in was easy. There seemed to be someone around at reception until late so felt assured if we needed anything we could ask.
The pitch itself was good, close to the WC and washing up facilities. Everyone was really friendly too.
The facilities were noticeably spotless and topped up each time we used them, and we did comment on this each time.
Onsite there is a small shop if you need the basic essentials which we used for some oil and a cup of coffee in the morning we couldn't use our stove due to the weather.
The restaurant is good, make sure you book in if there is an event on as we didn't and didn't get ideal seats for dinner, but our fault! The carvery on the Sunday was really good!
Whilst we were away a storm was predicted with heavy winds and rain. The reception staff called us (as we were exploring off site), to make sure we were aware and prepared, and offered us accommodation in a chalet for the difference in price, they were nice enough to offer a discount too! We were really impressed with this.
The chalets are basic, however perfect for a family.
Finally, the location is AMAZING. Just off the beach, you can hear the waves at night. There is a small dune walk down to the beach which may be a bit of a climb but worth it.
We would love to come back and highly recommend this site.
Great location, could do with additional toilets/showers

Great stay at Beachside
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 A lovely stay at Beachside holiday park, the kids thoroughly enjoyed it.
The beach is perfect, a short walk away. The park and pool was a big hit with the kids. The food was very nice from the restaurant too, the Sunday carvery sandwich was lovely.
The only down side to our stay was the toilet and shower block being so far away, but we did leave it to the last minute to book. Staff were very helpful, showers and toilets were cleaned imminently when I told the staff they needed cleaning.
I would return again.
A wonderful stay
Trailer Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 We had a wonderful time staying here for the first time with our trailer tent with our young children,
We did have a small issue where someone else had accidentally taken the spot where we meant to be, but it was resolved brilliantly. The lady who I spoke to, whom we had a wonderful chat with, it was sorted in no time.
The toilets and showers were very clean and well kept. The facilities were value for money. We had a great time making the most of the swimming pool and the beach nearby. Definitely highly recommend.
The only thing we would suggest is possibly providing shade around the pool on hot days and more shaded plots. In all, great place to stay, fabulous customer service and would stay there again.

Fantastic site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Fantastic location and facilities were clean, the onsite shop and cafe/restaurant were amazing, and right next to the beach which is much quieter than other beaches nearby.
A bit on the pricier side for campsites if you're not sticking around the camp all day, but you do get a lot on your doorstep.

Breakfast was super, 5 stars to the chefs and also Sunday roast was absolutely delicious, again 5 stars to the chefs!
I would definitely recommend this place and we will be back for sure.

Staff on reception when we arrived brilliant - best check in we have had - friendly, funny, what a welcome.

Motorhome - Large Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 Campsite was amazing. I stayed in my own motorhome.
The showers toilets etc were very clean and tidy.. lots of room on each pitch the staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for you.
The bar area had a lovely glass terrace with stunning views & sunsets. There is also an outside bar down by the football pitch children's play area with plenty of seating overlooking the glorious 3 mile Sandy Beach. Which had its own footpath down from the campsite.. it's not just for tents and tours.
There are also chalets bungalows and lodges to stay in. I will definitely make a return visit one day.
