Beautifully peaceful
Glamping Dome - Glamping Dome (Dog Friendly) Aug 2025 I was impressed with this glorious site on so many levels. It was clean and tidy, practically immaculate. It was smart looking, without being out of touch within its surroundings and just the right size, and number of pitches. The grounds are superb and well kept, keeping the just the right amount of ‘wild’ feeling. I’ll do my best to do it justice in the next few paragraphs.
We were in the Dome and it was brilliant (2 adults and 3 young children). It was all the above and so well equipped. Again, the shower, kitchen and living areas were immaculate. The Dome is tucked away in its own area, not overlooked and with plenty of space surrounding the spot.
The alternative options: camping, bell tents, campervans also have wonderful spots and washing facilities are also very well kept and new looking. There is also well sized ‘shepherds hut’, with hot tub as another accommodation option. Oh and the kids loved the little selection of children’s story books you could borrow while there, found in the communal kitchen area, something different to read for their bedtime story.
I met Paul while taking a wonder around and he was great to chat to and happy to help.
If you’re looking for a quite spot to get away for a few days, a real escape for quietness, then you should certainly add this delightful site to your list. And fear not, they have wi-fi across the site so you can keep in touch with the world… if you wanted to.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Laurel Non Electric Grass and Gravel Campervan Pitch Aug 2025 Beautifully positioned site with views over the rolling hills of the South Hams. Country walks to Slapton beach and the village pubs.
Highly recommended if you are looking for an 'escape' for a few days.

Medium Tent - Campion Non Electric Grass Tent Pitch Aug 2025 We booked the site because the facilities were great and it offered the perfect spot to explore the best that South Hams had to offer.
But, as we sat one evening, on the farm campsite, in a nook in the meadow, nustled in a patchwork of hillside fields... we stared at the vast map of stars extending over us, the campfire logs burning.... and wondered if we had discovered a lil' piece of heaven.

Medium Tent - Hedgehog Non Electric Grass Tent Pitch Jul 2025 A lovely quiet campsite with large pitches that are screened by hedging or long grass. Shower and loos were regularly cleaned and there are 2 fridges, a freezer and a charging bank with usb and usbc points.
Slapton leys is very close by for nature/birdwatching and Slapton sands is a very long beach and not busy at all when we were there. Excellently sited for a range of National Trust properties including Agattha Christie's beautiful holiday home and various gardens we found plenty to do. We also found some excellent local farm shops (Springfield near Kingsbridge) and restaurants (fab genuine Italian Trattoria Spaggia near Dartmouth) as well as two lovely pubs in the village.
