About the site

Caravans, motorhomes and campervans are all welcome to enjoy the touring park at Fontygary, where pitches all include EHUs and there are water disposal drains nearby. There's plenty of space space for awnings and you can use the park as a great base for exploring the area. If you don't fancy bringing your home with you, the site also has a great range of static caravans for rental and sale, where you'll also receive discounted access to all the park's amenities. There are options to suit many different tastes and budgets, though all include well equipped kitchens, a dining area and outside space.

Site facilities include showers, toilets and free Wi-Fi. There is a soft play area, ten pin bowling, gym, and spa. There is even a 25m swimming pool with a slide and toddler splash zone.

There is a fish and chip shop and and award winning Indian restaurant onsite. The Shoeway Bar is a great onsite bar for a drink at the end of the day.

Site rules and policies

Check in is between 2-8pm and check out is midday.

Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and you must clean up after your dog straight away. Failure to do so will result in you being asked to leave the park.

Dog walking is available in the adjacent field.

Things to do on site and in the Barry area

If you're keen to explore the beauty of this wonderful natural area, head down to Fontygary Bay and walk its breathtaking coastal path.

Treat yourself to a night out at the tasty Indian restaurant Raj Kinara, or eat and toast the night away at the Shoreway Bar with some excellent entertainment. It could be a disco for the little ones or a cabaret that will have everyone in stitches, but you're bound to find something to suit here.

For the younger members of the family there is all the fun of bowling and they can get away from the TV to instead play happily in the indoor children's pool.

Of course, if it all sounds too active, there's no harm in just pampering yourself at the private health spa, where you can get steamy in the sauna or let the bubbles relax you in a Jacuzzi.
