About the site
This family friendly campsite sits on the Banffshire Coast, overlooking the historic fishing village of Sandend and its sandy beach. Located beside the A98 and just five minutes from Cullen. With the sea on your doorstep, it's a laid back spot for a coastal break, with plenty of watersports and walking or cycling opportunities nearby. Start the morning with a coffee and breakfast from the site's cafe, then pick up some local produce from the deli to cook on the BBQ later. If you fancy leaving the cooking to someone else, there's also a pizza van on selected dates, while a mobile wood-fired sauna offers a chance to warm up and unwind after a day by the sea. Tent campers can pitch on spacious non electric grass pitches, with larger pitches accommodating tents for up to eight to ten people. If you're travelling with a trailer tent, roof tent, campervan or motorhome, there are grass pitches with optional electric, as well as designated caravan grass pitches with optional 10 amp hook ups. Static caravans are also available for up to four guests. When you're not at the beach, coastal trails lead from the site towards Portsoy, with plenty of clifftop views along the way. The East Coast 250 makes a great route for exploring more, and the area has even featured on TV, including Netflix's Peaky Blinders! Up to two dogs are welcome on camping and touring pitches, although they must be kept on a lead while onsite. BBQs are allowed as long as they are raised 50cm off the ground. Campfires and fire pits are not permitted.

Site rules and policies
* Check-in is available from 2pm until 7:30pm. Guests must report to reception on arrival. If it is closed, please contact the site.
* Check out for statics is 10am, and for tents and tourers it is noon.
* Two dogs are permitted per pitch and must be on a lead at all times.
* BBQs must be supervised and used for cooking only. They must be at least 50cm off the ground. Fire pits and open fires are prohibited.
* One vehicle is permitted per pitch.
* The speed limit is strictly 5mph.
* Breathable groundsheets are allowed in awnings only and must not be left unattended for more than 24 hours.
