Clear filters Super campsite
Extra Large Tent - XL Electric Grass Tent Pitches May 2024 This is one of the nicest campsites we have stayed at. It's a quiet site, so bear that in mind.
The toilet/shower/washing block was immaculate all of the time. Nice sized pitches in a very pleasant surrounding, with a pool, games room and small kids climbing area, all very well kept.
Super staff, very friendly, very knowledgeable about the area and very proud of the Isle of Wight (as is just about everyone else who lives there).
This site is highly recommended for anyone who wants a peaceful atmosphere.
Lovely campsite
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Sep 2023 What a gem of a campsite. Shower blocks and toilets amazingly clean and modern for a campsite. Great location, with easy access to bridle paths and a supermarket a short drive.
Pitches well spaced for privacy and helpful welcome pack.
Couldn’t recommend more.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2023 Words cannot describe how brilliant our stay at Ninham Country Holidays was. The elements (and our tent) fought against us at all turns, but the staff were more than willing to drop everything to help, and the facilities were excellent. The staff provided a welcome pack, spare tent poles when ours broke, and a friendly smile when we were absolutely soaked through. We would definitely recommend this campsite, and would stay here again!
Great campsite at a good location
Trailer Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2023 Lovely campsite in a great location, toilet block really clean and showers were good.
Great mix of people, lovely view over hills. Our pitch (109) was nice & big with a bit of shade from trees.
The only thing we didn't like was having to book the swimming pool a day in advance, as we didn't always know what we were doing the next day. But the pool was really nice, along with a good games room.
I would definitely recommend this site to families.
Overall good campsite
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2023 We had a good stay. Only thing we felt would be an improvement is a communal fridge and freezer. Toilets and showers were clean, as was the campsite in general. Pitches are spacious and flat. Booking the pool was a bit of a pain and an hour slot wasn't necessary, as it was too cold to stay in it that long, but otherwise fine.

Very friendly. Could not do more to help. Found myself in the wrong field setting up 😅 Help came along and transported my tent to the right pitch and helped me continue to set up in pouring rain…so very grateful Thank you!!!
Facilities are brand new and very clean and always being maintained. Lovely pool swim to end the day. Children playing freely.

Excellent clean shower and toilet block. Excellent well kept grounds. Excellent friendly service and electric hook up. Excellent wooden play areas for youngest kids.
Excellent clean swim pool available at 9am each day.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches May 2023 Superb campsite. Manages to feel quiet and rural, yet is convenient for everywhere you could want to visit. Plenty for the children to do but not the garish and flashy. The facilities were both excellent and constantly spotless. Mostly a quiet dark site so brilliant for star gazing - just a couple of rather brightly decorated tents to detract from that.
Pitches spacious and well laid out so private too.

My stay
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2022 I had to cut my holiday short because of the death of my dad. They couldn't have been more helpful with sorting out a ferry crossing for following day. I would stay here again as I found the site ideal for my needs, with it being quiet and clean including the toilet/shower block. And easy access to explore the rest of the Isle.
Would 100% revisit and recommend

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Aug 2022 We loved it here. We only had a little berlingo van but was put on a very big pitch with hook-up, which was a godsend with all the VW campers 😁
We loved the little pool, the booking worked out well as it was so hot. Facilities very, very clean and modern. Staff were lovely and helpful. Really good for children. Felt very safe just the two of us, our first time on the IOW.
The campsite itself was lovely. My only moan is that we had to walk through a long, secluded foot path next to a corn field to get to a bus stop or pub. It was fine during the day but not at night on our own, so we didn't leave the campsite on foot in the evening or we had to drive.
We would love to stay again though and would highly recommend this campsite. Thanks!

Lovely big pitches VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Aug 2022 We enjoyed our stay enormously. The best bit was the enormous size of the pitch and easy access to Shanklin.
We were a bit put out by having to book the pool but understand why and it is a small pool.
