Wern Mill Caravan Park is nestled in the quiet countryside, five minutes outside of the seaside town of New Quay. The site welcomes tourers on spacious hardstanding pitches and a shepherd's hut, with access to a kid's play park and even a bar during peak times. Just a ten minute walk from the coast and Cei Bach Beach, it is an ideal location for a seaside getaway. During the summer, also be sure to pick up a boat trip to spot dolphins!

About the site

Surrounded by charming seaside towns and villages, with the beach just a ten minute walk away, this is an ideal spot for a relaxing seaside stay. The park sits along a gentle stream with flowers and green spaces all around, ideal for families and couples alike. Welcoming trailer tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes, the site offers a range of 25 hardstanding pitches, each with a 16 amp electric hook up. Pick between the 8m x 5m pitches, or for extra room, opt for one of the 16m x 6m pitches which also come with a water tap and allow RVs. For anyone travelling without a tourer, the site also has a shepherd's hut which is complete with a double bed, and a double sofa bed with bedding provided. You'll also have a TV, electric, heating and a kitchenette. Outside is a decking and private garden area with seating. Shared facilities nearby. There is also a static touring caravan. Well suited to guests with mobility concerns, the park is easily explored and level. It's also set beside a popular bus route, which makes it easy to get around. If you want to enjoy a spot of al fresco cooking, raised fire pits and BBQs are permitted. The site also offers an outdoor bar during peak times which is an ideal place to enjoy a tipple and meet other campers. Dogs are welcome to join you for your stay, with up to two allowed per pitch.

There is a modern toilet and shower block onsite with underfloor heating and a covered washing up area. There is also a launderette service (only available on request), a designated dog shower, a play area, a small grocery shop in the day at reception (open during peak times) and a bar (during peak times).

Various food caterers/vans are available onsite on select weekends. Free WiFi is provided.

The park is within a 30 minute walk of New Quay, which offers a great selection of restaurants, cafes and bars, including The Black Lion, The Pepper Pot Bar and Grill, and Hotel Penwig .

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding PitchesSep 2025

The campsite was just outside Newquay. It's a very pretty site with a spotless toilet and shower block. A bus stop is nearby on the main road at Gilfachreda. The owner, if available, offers a lift with only £1 donation to take you into Newquay, about 5 minutes car ride away. This donation goes towards the replacement of the defibrillator battery they keep on site. There is also a small pub on site run by the owners. This is only open certain times of the year though. Would definitely recommend.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding PitchesAug 2025

We were later arriving than had stayed, but all the information was sent to us with pitch number and details beforehand. The toilets and showers were immaculately clean, the pitches were a very good size, very neat & tidy with the gravel hard standing and grass. The family were all friendly and helpful. A good bus route with a stop just up the road to go up and down the coast. A beautiful quiet 10 minute walk down to Cei Bach beach down country lane then onto beach path. Thursday, Friday & Saturday evening the little bar was open, very reasonable priced drinks and a lovely atmosphere, sitting talking to other campers. On the Saturday night a pop up hog roast stall came which was excellent. New Quay only 30 min walk and we spotted Dolphins each time we went 🐬💙 A lovely relaxing holiday made so by staying on this wonderful site, we'll definitely be back to stay again.
