Lovely holiday
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Touring Pitch Aug 2023 We have stayed here before many years ago. Good sized hardstanding pitches for caravan and awning. Walk to Robin Hoods Bay beach is about 15 minutes and not suitable for disabled customers.
Only negative really was the lack of general waste bins on site. One large recycle skip, but no dog waste bins or general bins on our side of the pitch. Toilet block could do with updating, but still very functional and the showers were hot so not complaining.
I would go back as it is a nice site.

The skip is 100% recycled. The fact that there are no waste bins dotted round the site is done deliberately. This is to keep the site free of bins so dogs and badgers cannot tip the bins over and make a mess! Guests do not like camping near waste bins.
Lovely campsite
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches (Family Field) Aug 2023 Lovely campsite with clean facilities. Showers and water were hot quickly, small park area for children to play in the family field.
The owners were approachable and dealt with any issues well. We liked that the warden was keen to reinforce the campsite rules, so it remained family friendly.
Lovely short walk to Robin Hoods Bay from the campsite.

Family camping Medium Tent - Medium Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 We were put in the square field, a field not shown on the photos and probably used on busy weekends. This made the site far larger and busier than we like.

Good location but too busy Medium Tent - Medium Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 Great location, with a great cut through of a small walk down to Robin Hood's Bay. They really pack campers in close together, which isn't our preference and therefore wouldn't stay here again.
Unfortunately, we had noisy neighbours who woke us up at 2am due to tents being placed so close together, we could hear everything.
