About the site
A hidden gem set in the peace and quiet of East Anglia with excellent views. It's a beautiful base for exploring Cambridgeshire and Norfolk, just a few minutes to the village of Outwell and just ten minutes away from the market town of Wisbech. This small campsite has grass pitches with optional electric to suit camping and touring. With only a few available, your stay will never feel too crowded. As for glamping options, these all come fully equipped to take the stress away from your East Anglian countryside break, including beds, cooking equipment, and firepit. There is the Rose Bell Tent for some luxury camping under canvas and sleeps up to 5. For something a little fancier, the Tiddywinkle Yurt sleeps two adults and two children, and is beautifully decorated with rugs, blankets, a tree and a sofa. You even have a skylight to watch the stars as you hit the hay! The Carousel Yurt is for those with a bigger group, sleeping six with a king size bed, three single beds and an optional camp bed. There is an outside cabin kitchenette, picnic bench, fire pit, BBQ and optional electric hot tub. As for the Bumble Shepherd's Hut, this is a cosy and romantic option for two, complete with a log burner, wood fired hot tub and a private outdoor camping kitchen to cook your meals. The Dragonfly Shepherd's Hut also sleeps two and is situated down by the lake and is a great romantic spot to watch the fish jumping and the dragonflies around the lake whilst cosied up round the fire pit. It also has its own outdoor private kitchen area. If you are searching for a cosy, yet simple, glamping stay the Poppy Cabin could be ideal. Inside you will find a double bed for adults and bunk bed for two children. Outside is an optional hot tub, along with cooking equipment and an outdoor firepit/BBQ for cooking up something tasty. Bedding is provided but guests will need to bring their own towels. There is also the option of Winne Cabin, allowing up to three guests, the glamping cabin comes equipped with a double bed and a wood-burning stove. Outside is a wonderful entertaining area complete with a kitchen space, decking, BBQ, dining area and an optional hot tub. For a lakeside escape, Shell-E cabin could be perfect. Sleeping up to two, the cosy cabin comes fully furnished with a double bed, a small log burner and shared facilities nearby. The Old Stables glamping cabin comes complete with optional gas fired hot tub, a king size bed and sofa bed, sleeping two adults and two children. It has its own private cooking and dining outdoor area and for the winter months, a log fire and TV. There is also an electric hot tub outside. Spend your time fishing at the lake, playing on-site games with the kids or exploring the wonderful Norfolk countryside nearby. Don't miss the stunning sunsets over the lake too. Picnic tables and fire pits are available onsite. Forgot your firewood? Don't fret as the onsite shop stocks all the essentials. Four-legged friends can also join you for your stay, with up to two allowed on all of the pitches and in all of the glamping units.

Wonderful stay, the hosts go above and beyond every time. So many lovely touches from the milk in the fridge to the little games in the hut. Breakfast was great quality and delivered super hot! We love it here.

I have just had an amazing stay in the Bumble hut. It was just me and my 2 dogs. The hosts were brilliant and made me feel so welcome. The hot tub was sparked up for me and it was just so relaxing. The Bumble hut was so cosy and warm, I slept like a baby every night. Would highly recommend, I will certainly be booking again.

Myself and partner booked a nights stay with our doggo. I must admit, end of September maybe wasn't the best time as it was super cold. However, the teddy bear bedding and the hot water bottle that Christine left us was a god send. We filled it 20 mins before bed and the bed was cosy when we got it! The tent was beautifully furnished and absolutely immaculate! I imagine it's difficult to keep those high standards at this time of year when it's wet and muddy but it really was. The facilities were also immaculate, we were pleasantly surprised they were really nice inside. Everything we could have needed kitchen wise was supplied to make what we needed to. We walked into the village too, which was lovely, about a 15/20 minute walk to the shop. We paid for the fire pit bits, again made our night's stay, having hot chocolate next to it when lit. It was also super quiet even though all the other pods were booked. We couldn't have asked for anything more peaceful. Also had the breakfast. Would recommend! It was so good! Not too heavy and delicious! Those that worked there were fabulous with us. Answered any questions we had and were so polite! I would 100% return and intend to! Perhaps in the summer months 🥶😂🥰 Thank you for our stay! We had a great time!
