Low Greenside Farm Campsite is a peaceful, eco-friendly, family-owned site in the Westmorland Dales, central to the Lake District and Dales. Spacious pitches with individual fire pits are set around a wildflower meadow with lots of room to relax and play. Fabulous views and dark starry skies, plus cosy glamping in a separate field with private amenities. Great choice of walks from the site, a short stroll to two village pubs. Dogs welcome.

Fantastic little site, welcoming owners and despite rustic location, outstanding facilities. Stunning views and perfect location just few miles from M6. Thank you, we will return on the next adventure.

The campsite was everything it said it was, great facilities, welcoming and friendly hosts, great location with nearby towns, villages, amenities and attractions. Priced perfectly for what you get. My recommendation would be to make it clearer where pitches should be by marking them out somehow, as others pitched up in random places and sometimes a little too close. Will definitely be visiting again.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay here David. It's nice to hear that we provide what we say we're going to provide. We like to give people the freedom to pitch up wherever they like when they arrive. Everyone is asked to make sure they are a sensible distance from other people and it is rarely an issue that someone is too close to another in such a spacious field. Gorgeous little campsite with wild flower meadow. Like camping used to be. Every pitch has its own fire pit with logs to buy on site. All are grass pitches non electric with access to a fabulous eco showers and toilet block. Easy access to the Lake District and the dales. Quiet site with no cars on the camping field. Wheel barrows are provided to cart your gear to the further pitches. This means that kids are safe to run and play and they have great fun helping to get set up with a cheeky ride on the barrow afterwards! Magnus and his family who own and run the site are just lovely and so helpful. There are loads of walks from the site and a short walk to the village of Ravenstonedale, where there are two dog friendly pubs. Dogs welcome on site. Highly recommended, we are booking again for next year.

Great campsite, all the facilities you need and more. Fridge-freezer on site, fridge only undercounter so very full. Freezer was a chest so plenty of space. Toilets and showers very clean. Site even had lockers with plugs and two USB charging points. Electric was free to use. Plenty of booklets for places of interest in the area.

Excellent campsite, facilities were nipping clean, kids loved the toilets 😂 Great location, Magnus was there whenever needed. Peaceful & quiet site, was perfect for what we were looking for. Great value for money, looking forward to our next stay.

The bell tent is superb, very comfortable and beautiful views. Everything is well thought out, including a well equipped kitchen and the fire pit. Would recommend this campsite to anyone, great facilities and a great approach to camping as it should be. Very eco minded.

A well presented and organised campsite with great facilities. Situated in beautiful surroundings and a short walk to a lovely village & pub by the river. They are very eco friendly and the staff where very accommodating.

This is a beautiful location. The views from the site are fantastic. Our pitch was flat and comfortable, the distance between pitches is good. The emphasis on the environment really appealed to us, from the meadow of uncut grass to the composting toilets and recycling facilities. The showers and washing up facilities are second to none, and even include a lockable cabinet for charging devices. The site was quiet when we were there; the only drawback I could see would be is if busy - and there's room for a lot of campers - there may be queues for the toilets and showers. A lovely campsite which we are keen to return to.

We just stayed one night, but could have stayed the week. Eco friendly site, large pitches, beautiful surroundings. Very quiet and relaxed. You are able to have fires, each pitch is allocated with a fire pit. The views are epic! The showers were amazing! Within walking distance to the village pub where we saw red squirrels! Everybody on site and in the local village were very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely recommend this site for adults as there are no facilities for children.

For me and my family, this is a must stay campsite. From where we live, it's only 1 and 1/2 hours drive to the campsite, quick stop off in Kirkby Stephen, then 10mins to campsite. Picture postcard hills/fields all around you and 2 pubs within easy walking distance. Dogs more than welcome. Site lovely and clean. Excellent for families. We will be staying here again.

A lovely peaceful campsite with nice views of the surrounding hills. Only a short walk to the quiet village of Ravenstonedale which has 2 pubs, both of which serve food and outdoor seating area. The campsite is kept clean, tidy and is very well organised by Magnus.

Absolute heaven, a gorgeous campsite. Immaculately clean and in a perfect location. The owners were very nice, helpful and keep the site looking great. Nice, level pitches for camping. The showers are lovely, powerful and hot. We loved it and will return. Loved the firepit it was already positioned for your arrival and a log and kindle bundle is just £10. There are mobile phone charging points in the shower area that you can lock away while they charge, which is handy.

Wow! Fantastic site. Everybody catered for. Was such a nice suprise as we had just spent 10 days touring Scotland and really needed a pick me up. My only funny critisism was the eco toilets were so high and I am only 5ft 4in 🤣. Would recommend to everyone.

We booked last minute and were so pleased we did. We've travelled a lot in our van around Europe and Scandinavia, but this was one of the best sites we've come across. We were especially impressed with the environmental ethos, the quality of the facilities - carefully maintained, high end compost loos, fantastic hot, high pressure showers and that view. Looking forward to return visit on the way up to the Highlands in a few months.

Magnus' site was truly wonderful. Beautiful location and possibly the nicest facilities I've ever had at a site. Toilets, showers and kitchen were immaculate constantly. Lots of choice for pitching and a very peaceful sleep. Lovely for families and pets. Highly recommend, we will be back!

We loved this campsite. It was great to have a fire pit, facilities were kept clean and the showers were lovely. I loved that cars were kept in the car park and not near tents. Xx
