About the site

Set in a pretty part of South Derbyshire, this site is perfect for a relaxed break. There are a set of fully serviced pitches and a total of 25 electric hook-ups spread across hardstanding and grass pitches for tents. There is a spacious open field for tent campers. If you're keen to try your hand at glamping, there are a set of pods, both deluxe options with ensuite and others which are standard and offer access to shared facilities. These each sleep two plus two in fully insulated comfort with electricity and a self contained kitchenette, but the deluxe option includes plenty of extras, such as a full size double bed and ensuite shower and toilet.

Fishing is available on site across two well stocked lakes, the perfect way to unwind and escape the world. You can fish just for fun or get involved in one of the site's many competitive matches.

Take a day out to the National Trust's Calke Abbey, where you'll smell the blossoms in the orangery or walk in gorgeous walled gardens.

For something more on the exhilarating side of things, it has to be nearby Donnington Park, where the whizz of the circuit is enough to get anyone's blood pumping. Apart from witnessing the greats in the hot seat, you can also book your own driving experiences here.
