There are grass and hardstanding pitches with and without electric for tents and tourers, as well as fully furnished bell tents and shepherd's huts. A quiet, family run site with modern facilities and a children's play park, football pitch and indoor soft play area.

What a great site, went there for the bank holiday weekend. The facilities are good the showers are good kept clean every day. The site has good drainage, so even though there has been a lot of rainfall over the last couple of months, the ground wasn't chewed up and messy. I'll definitely be back again. There were food vans that came on site selling pizza ect.
Great stay and weather held out for us!

We booked in for a couple of nights in our campervan, choosing this site for its amenities and location to the New Forest and Bournemouth. We were greeted with a very warm welcome, an intro to the site and given directions to the nearest supermarket and pub, which was needed. The site was immaculate, from the grounds through to the toilets and showers, which were some of the cleanest I've come across at a site! We will be returning and would definitely recommend this site to anyone heading this way.

The location is ideal. When on site it's idyllic with fields and greenery for your view. Just outside is a range of amenities, so anything you need is within minutes. It is close to a main road but don't let that put you off because you cannot hear a thing and the minute you get to the entrance you can't see it either. Facilities are some of the best we've been to. Excellent shower and toilet. Immaculately clean. Given how bad the weather was, not once did I go in and see any sign of mud on the floor (I think there is a cleaning fairy that goes in directly after it's been used). There is constant hot running water at every tap, so washing up is easy and quick (no waiting for boiling kettles to clean your plates). There is a soft play barn open on-site at all hours, great for little ones to burn off some steam. It's safe and enclosed, and as a working farm, there are some beautiful animals wandering around. The hairy cows are the best! Best of all are the staff, really friendly, lovely to chat to and always on hand if you need help. I honestly cannot rate this place enough. And you can bring your dogs, which is brilliant. All round great stay and would go back in a heartbeat.

Very clean site. Lovely owners. My children had a great time running around the puddles! Will be coming back in summer when the soft play and play park is open.

We really enjoyed our stay at St Leonard's Campsite. Our children loved the outdoor play area and the indoor soft play. We were able to cycle to nearby country parks (Avon Heath, Moors Valley), which we had a lovely day at.

St Leonards is a larger campsite than I am used to, but the layout and landscaping made it feel more private and secluded, with hedgerows sectioning off smaller areas. The site is very green, beautifully maintained and very clean and tidy. Our pitch was (at our request) close to the washing facilities, which were of a good standard and never over-crowded (although, we were staying there out of school-holiday season). Local 'pop-up' restaurants have regular slots to serve food on site - there was a pizza van on two of the nights we stayed, and a BBQ van on the Saturday. Every afternoon an ice-cream van was open. I'm not sure if this is all year round. The location of St Leonards is situated well to explore Dorset and Hampshire. Beaches at Bournemouth, Poole, Swanage and Studland are easily reached with a short drive, plus lots of places of interest like Corfe Castle, Kingston Lacy House, Monkey World, the Tank Museum and the steam railway. I would definitely recommend this campsite to any sized group of any age range.

Great, clean and friendly campsite. The reception was very friendly upon arrival and so were the guests. The amenities were very convenient, kept clean and tidy throughout our stay. Very convenient place to stay within walking distance of several pubs, restaurants and even a supermarket (for convenience). Bournemouth/Boscombe beaches are less than a 20 minute drive away. Will visit again!

This was the first camping experience as a family with a three year old toddler. She loved the play barn and the outdoor park. Facility-wise. Every WC was with a shower which was very convenient and clean. The staff were so kind, friendly and welcoming. Especially the lady in the reception. She was very helpful and responded to everything that we needed. Would like to stay there again and recommend everyone.

Lovely, friendly owners. The site is well laid out with plenty of space. Playground is great and the soft play is a really good addition. There isn’t a shop but that didn’t matter as multiple shops nearby and they have food vans stop by during busy times. Will definitely return in the future.

Lovely place, would definitely visit again. We really enjoyed our visit to the campsite, was a very good location and enjoyable stay. The facilities could do with a bit of an upgrade and maybe cleaned a bit more often though.

To me, the facilities are outdated and the showers did not give a good flow, just a dribble. The floors were always dirty when others had used.

Great location to get to the beaches, town or parks. Great size pitches. The males in our group would have like more toilet & shower facilities but must say these were kept very clean.
Good location for exploring Dorset

We booked a hard standing campervan spot (Renault Master) for two nights over a bank holiday weekend. We booked it a few days before our stay and managed to get it for a really reasonable price considering there are very few places that allow two night stays over a bank holiday. It was very easy to find and we got a warm welcome on arrival. We were located in a nice quiet spot on the outskirts of the campsite and it looked like those with families were grouped together deeper in to the campsite. Very cleverly done. The toilets were relatively clean (4/5) compared to some other campsite toilets I've seen. The toilet floor and shower cubicle floor was a little muddy at times but it's a campsite, what do people expect! However, the toilets and showers are in the same room. It would make more sense to have separate shower blocks and separate toilet blocks to avoid queues. Even so, we didn't experience too much queueing but then again we weren't reliant on the toilets as we have a porta potty. The site was well kept, lots to do for children although we didn't get to check this out on this trip (didn't travel with kids on this occasion). The only negative was the site is located right near a road so it wasn't the idyllic countryside location we were expecting. We could've done with some nice nearby walking areas for the doggo, but not a huge deal, as we spent most of one day on Bournemouth beach (20 minute drive) and most of the next day, hiking the trails of New Forest (15 minute drive). The other negative was that the onsite food was really expensive and they didn't have anything vegetarian or vegan. We took our own food in anticipation of this, but would've liked to have tried the food. It was really good for a base. We didn't intend to spend a lot of time at the campsite, we just needed somewhere to sleep securely and electric hook-up for a kettle/coffee frother on a morning. It was really good for that purpose. Clean, tidy, helpful staff and easy to navigate around the site.

Nice site. Good location, nice big park for kids and the pitches themselves are level. Love that local food vans and a bar on wheels comes in on the weekends. The bathroom facilities could be improved. You have to keep pressing the button on the showers for them to keep running and the pressure isn't very strong. There aren't any shelves for you to put your stuff when showering, so it's quite difficult to keep your clean clothes dry etc. Would be handy to have an on site shop. Would probably visit again :)

I couldn't praise this site more. The couple running it truly go out of their way to help make sure you have a fab holiday. It's the little things that make a great difference. The kids had a great time in the park (we requested to have a pitch close to the park and we were literally next door where we could keep an eye on them while relaxing in the sun cooking dinner, dreamy) and soft play. The farm animals were an added bonus. We will definitely be back again. The shower block closer to the entrance was amazing! You can shower in your own locked room without the fear of a shower curtain exposing you to everyone! 100/10 ☺️

Great site, friendly approachable staff. Lovely pitches with plenty of space. Facilities clean and great range of visiting food vans and an ice cream van every evening. Great base for exploring the surrounding areas.
