Short stay

We stayed here for 2 nights and were a little disappointed being told our campervan was too high for the pitch we selected, but we were not informed of this at booking. Luckily, they had another pitch available but at a higher cost, which really should have been waived as it was not our fault. Facilities were okay but bathrooms and shower areas smelled unpleasant most of the time. The pitch itself was nice and we had a great view across the countryside, all other guests were very pleasant and friendly, so was a nice restful break. We would like to return in the future as its hard to find a site that is adult's only (especially during school summer holidays!)

Nice adult only site, dog friendly

Adult only site. Dog friendly. Situated just off a main road, therefore there is some road noise but not overly noticeable. Clean shower and toilet facilities with hair dryer. Kitchen area for washing up, with a washing machine and iron and board. There is also a vending machine with cold drinks, chocolate, sweets and crisps. Staff are friendly and very efficient, sticklers for rules and leaving your pitch on time etc. Farm shop is nice, every weekend there is also fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers and plants sold adjacent to the shop. The café is great. We made the most of our stay and enjoyed the Friday night steak night (service was incredibly slow though). Food was fabulous 👌 We enjoyed the Sunday lunch too, great portions and very tasty. The breakfast was delicious too. Will we be going back? I think so!

Shocked

We arrived here for the third time. We were welcomed by Kelly who remembered us, she checked up on us and we started our stay, we got to day 3 and decided to book another night and the hot tub, then it went downhill. The staff changed over, one member drove round the site twice then approached my partner and asked her to turn music down, saying it was too loud. We had had a 5 watt Alexa on during every stay, it wasn't loud. We instantly felt unwelcome, so I called the warden's number to cancel the extra night and hot tub, then same guy answered who was rude to us and straight away he said, yep, I'll do a refund now and put phone down. We are so disappointed as this was our happy place and we were speaking about getting a caravan and becoming seasonal pitchers, but now we won't be returning because this member of staff. I would like to say thank you to Sarah and her husband for making us welcome and taking time to speak to us. Also, Kelly was very pleasant and polite. Also, the other warden (I didn't catch her name). It's such a shame it came to this but we instantly felt unlikened by this warden and humiliated. The thing is, we check our music levels all the time. It couldn't be heard off the pitch, especially with the strength of the wind. We are not disrespectful and don't expect to be disrespected. One warden has ruined such a lovely place for us. I'm sorry it ended our stay this way, we are so gutted we won't be returning whilst this member of staff is there, being allowed to treat customers in this way.

Revisited

It was 11 years ago we last stayed at New Lodge Farm, I can safely say, it will not be that long before we return. Very clean loos and showers. The pitches are large, flat, most fully serviced, but despite the lack of any privacy hedging we did not feel crowded by the neighbours vans. We were both impressed with the current on site offerings. A well stocked farm shop, you could do your weekly shop there. A restaurant with table service and themed evenings. A weekend plant and fruit stall. A Saturday pizza van. Only downside we encountered was the less than attentive service in the restaurant. We waited 20 mins for our drinks and that was after going up and asking twice. This should be easily remedied with a word in the right ears, mainly young serving staff. This will not put us off going again as the food was excellent.

AMAZING STAY!!

If I could give more stars then I would! The staff were so friendly, informative and offered great suggestions of things to do/ local amenities etc. The pod itself was extremely clean, it had a very comfy bed with pillows and duvet, a hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and tiny freezer inside, the shower was amazing, great pressure and had hand held part too. The TV connected to YouTube etc so good quality too. The log burner was an amazing touch. And the view was so secluded just grass, trees and the odd cow peeping through. We was even lucky enough to have takeaway breakfast at the farm shop cafe, the best bacon roll ever had! We would definitely come back here- the only negative we had was that we had to leave!!!

Excellent, relaxed, well equipped site

This is a marvellous site with excellent facilities. It was scrupulously clean with nice touches, such as the provision of washing up liquid in the wash up area and liquid soap in the washrooms. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the pitches large and the on site shop and cafe sold a variety of lovely local items. It is a relaxed and peaceful site albeit with some traffic noise audible from the nearby road.

A gem of a campsite

What an amazing little camp site right on our doorstep! The staff are fantastic - so friendly and nothing ever appears too much trouble. Kitchens and bathrooms are so clean, and lovely and warm. Steak night is a must! We'll be back. Thank you for such a lovely weekend.

Fantastic stay

First time visit and won't be the last! Fantastic food. Very friendly, excellent service, and all round great place to stay. Highly recommend.

Lovely campsite

We were only there one night, but could tell that it is a lovely campsite - the service was excellent and friendly. Very clean facilities. Would definitely stay again and longer next time.

4 night stay in October

Site well placed for exploring the area. All facilities were very clean, we particularly like the showers and not having to keep pressing a button every 10 secs! The nearby A43 was not an issue with noise, as some people have reviewed. The robotic mower was fascinating! Would come again, and have recommended the site to friends.

All that we wished for

We were very pleased with New Lodge Farm from the moment we arrived, as we were warmly welcomed by the warden. Facilities are clean and well-maintained. All staff are friendly and helpful. We loved the food, service, surroundings, and the whole experience. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend it. One of the best sites we have been to.

Lovely site

Lovely clean site. We had a lovely evening in the restaurant on the Saturday. Unfortunately this site is too near a main road for us. Just not peaceful enough.

Relaxing weekend away

This was our first time out in a caravan so we were very green about it all but the staff were very friendly and helpful in helping us. The campsite was excellent in every way, we couldn't have asked for a better place to start using our caravan. The facilities were very clean and in good working order also the cafe served excellent food and service. We would recommend this site to anyone.

Very pleased

We enjoyed everything about New Lodge Farm from the moment we arrived and were greeted with a warm welcome. The farm shop, restaurant and cafe area were delightful and the food was delicious. All staff were friendly and helpful. The campsite was clean, with pitches of a good size and well spaced. Highly recommend and look forward to booking our next stay here.

Great campsite

Fantastic facilities but the number of showers/toilets is not in line with the number of pitches. However, that seems being the norm in the UK (after 5 weeks traveling). Well equipped shop and restaurant, however closes at 5pm so not for dinner.

Lovely site

Lovely site with excellent facilities, including spacious showers with normal controls (not annoying push button on/off). Spotlessly clean too. Only negative we found was Wi-Fi was not good, but this was the only downside, with everything else being brilliant

Nice shop and restaurant on site

The site is on a good location with nice views. I personally didn't like the worker constantly driving round on his buggy or Segway. He did advise us on the second day that we had gone over our boundary which was fine we moved pitches and went on a grass pitch so we could put our windbreak up and stay within the boundary. We like peace and tranquillity and sites that leave you to it but with the worker passing by several times in a day it felt intrusive on what should be a peaceful environment.

Happy campers

I would thoroughly recommend this farm. A lovely site with beautiful views. All staff members were very professional, helpful and polite. Overall cleanliness was to a high standard. The bonus of a farmers market at weekends was splendid. We will definitely be returning for further visits.

Luxury and clean

It's a wonderful campsite, facilities are really great. Toilets and shower, laundry room which also had a microwave! It's small, but just right for stopping a few nights. It's next to the A43, so you can hear the road, if you like pure nature silence then this isn't the right campsite for you. Otherwise it's fantastic.

They have thought of everything

My wife and I used New Lodge Farm as a stop over in our VW camper while conducting some business in Corby. It is one of the best managed and cleanest sites we have been to, quiet, well kept and pretty central for many of the areas places of interest. We would definitely stay again.
