Set in the North York Moors, Middlewood Farm Holiday Park is in a scenic coastal location, just a ten minute walk from Robin Hood's Bay. The site offers a range of grass and hardstanding tent and touring pitches with the option of electric, plus cosy camping pods with heating and electric. There is a play area for little ones, plus optional WiFi too. A pub and shop are within a five minute walk, with Whitby within a 15 minute drive!

We are just driving back to the Lakes after a fabulous stay stay at this wonderful campsite! The location is amazing as it is just a 15 minute stroll down to the bay. Toilets and facilities were a bit outdated but perfectly clean! The campsite itself was very tidy too and well maintained. you can tell it is a very well cared for site. The Flyingdales Inn pub was a 5 minute walk up the hill and the food was amazing! It had a little play park too. We would defiantly recommend the Robin Hoods Bay ghost walk too! The adults and kids found the stories fascinating! Thank you so much!

A short 20 minute walk through countryside to Robin Hoods Bay makes this an excellent choice of site. The sound of bird song surrounds you. Toilets were clean. Reception helpful. Local shop for groceries. Small play park for children. Dog friendly. A really great all round site.

This site is a lovely, well maintained site. Robin Hoods Bay is a short walk from the camp site. We nipped down a few times during our visit. I also recommend booking Brambles Bistro, which is in Robin Hoods Bay and the food was delicious. Our pitch was well maintained and the toilet block was always clean. Will definitely return!

My first motorhome trip

The location was beautiful and the local pub served excellent food. The site was spotlessly clean and so were the showers and toilet facilities. The shower block was always well heated and kept in a pristine condition. The site was very quiet, just heard birds and sheep! It was my first trip out in my new motorhome and the site has set a very high standard for the next journeys out.

Ideall base from which to explore North Yorkshire Coast

An ideal location from which to walk or drive to access Robin Hood's Bay, Whitby or Scarborough. Only 10 mins drive out of Whitby, 20 mins to Scarborough or York within the hour. But more importantly, you have access to fantastic coastal scenery and beaches, Robin Hoods Bay and Flyingdale 10 min walk from site, shops, pubs and places to eat. Would highly recommend, our second trip and certainly not our last.

Stayed for the weekend. Immaculate glamping pod inside and out! Well equipped. Peaceful and a stone's throw away from Robin Hood's Bay. Toilets very clean and showers lovely and warm. Butty shop a few mins away provides a lovely breakfast, and there are fish and chip shops at the bay - yummy too!

Beautiful site. Immaculate showers and toilets. Lovely and quiet, fantastic local pub and a 15 minute walk to Robin Hood's Bay beach, bars and restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Excellent, smallish site on a working farm. Close to Robin Hood's Bay and Whitby. Pitches spacious with electric included. Toilets and showers nice and clean. Security barrier on gate.

A good place to stay with nice pods. The location was a short drive to places for a visit. Just make sure you take all utensils, cups, plates and sleeping stuff as we only had a fridge, kettle and microwave in the pod. Would definitely stay again.

The site is is really nice with spacious pitches. However, I have rated the facilities three stars due to the limited shower options in the family area. There was no ability to adjust the water temperature and the standard shower duration was five minutes, resulting in three minutes of unnecessary water use in my case, the water was too hot for me.

It was my first time in a campervan, reception were so helpful in explaining everything. The facilities were great and had everything you'd need. Only downside was my camper gas ran out and the site didn't have any refills available, but other than that all was fine. 5*.

If I had one complaint it would be the showers, they were cold and on a timer restricting the time it's on. They don't come back on for about five minutes, which makes you stand there freezing in the winter covered in soap and water waiting for the showers to come back on. The internet Wi-Fi signal wasn't brilliant either, but the location is beautiful.

I am sorry for your shower experience. When there are only few people on site and you are the first person to have a shower that morning, the hot water has to get from the boiler (which has instant hot water) to the shower head. The WIFI is generally very good, but when you were with us I do believe there were some issues, which were beyond our control. Our Wi-Fi is not meant for streaming films and large downloads. We hope to see you again.

A great location and super clean. We have been a few times and I will certainly be going back again. All the campsite facilities you'll need! There is an excellent local pub only a 10 mins walk away. Another 10 mins walk (down a couple of fields) is the best part of The Bay and the beach!
