Fabulous stay at Tobacconist Farm Campsite! Pitch was perfect, as was everything else. Everywhere was super clean and facilities were spot on. Lucy was very welcoming and so helpful in lending us an electric cable that we needed but hadn’t brought! Very short walk into the lovely Minchinhampton. Can highly recommend the food The Crown pub and the sausage rolls at Henry’s cafe. Alun and Alice the donkeys were so friendly too. Will definitely return there soon. Thanks for a memorable stay! ☺️

Lovely camp site only a short 5 minute walk to the main town. Toilet facilities were clean and well kept and the kitchen area was extremely useful for washing up, making a hot drink or even doing some laundry if needed. Lucy greeted us at the entrance and showed us to our pitch and gave us information about the campsite and the local town which was very helpful. Short drive away from Nailsworth and Stroud. Would definitely book again as a base for exploring the Cotswolds.

A friendly welcome from Lucy, with all the information we needed. Pitch was large with relaxed set-up direction so we were able to make the most of sun and shade as required. Nice clean facilities, and lovely wooded area for the dogs to wander and toilet (bags provided and bin at the gate). We loved the friendly donkeys! A pleasant walk into Minchinhampton, which is a lovely little town. Henry's Bakehouse cafe was excellent (lovely bacon and avacado rolls and great coffee) We also visited the pub, nice food too. Beautiful church with amazing windows inside and wonderful to have the common so close to give the dogs a run. Everything you require from a campsite and really quiet and peaceful.

Friendly site with great facilities

We had a lovely stay at Tobacconist farm. The facilities were excellent. Plenty of hot water and spotlessly clean. Also a great perk was the washing machine and washing line. We really appreciated it. Many thanks Lucy. PS the donkeys were a special treat!!

A great little campsite, well maintained with a clean and tidy toilet/shower block. Lucy the owner had put down marquee matting onto our pitch prior to our arrival because there was no grass due to the weather. This was a really nice thought and made our stay very enjoyable. Even the chemical toilet disposal area was equipped with disposable gloves and wipes. The site is in a great location to visit Stroud with its brewery and surrounding areas. All in all a great stay. Will definitely be returning.

Large Tent - Paddock Grass Tent Pitches with Optional ElectricJul 2026

This campsite was home for 5 days. The place feels peaceful and relaxing but is only a 5 minute slow stroll the the centre of the village. Lucy, our host, greeted us on arrival and showed us our pitch, which was massive, as she has limited the amount of pitches, allowing loads of space and privacy. Lucy's recommendations and local knowledge was very helpful throughout our stay. Toilet/shower facilities were more than adequate for the site they were clean, well equipped and maintained. We will definitely be paying this hidden gem another visit.

Really lovely campsite and really clean

Large Tent - Paddock Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesJul 2026

Lovely, really clean in the toilets and shower rooms. Lucy is really friendly and welcoming. There is a nice dog walking bit that she has that is great to walk around - great place to stay, having a washing machine, pegs and lines to dry is great, as we unfortunately had one of our dogs that decided that would be the time to have a poorly stomach, a lot of bedding to clean. Fridge freezer is great, was limited on space. Downside. The showers not having the ability to change the temperature and not being on longer, having to press the button every 5 seconds. Engaged bathroom/toilet system is a good idea, if people used them. Some adults did use them and some didn't, I'd say maybe a sign saying they need to do it might help these people with less common sense, as we had a few times where it was on engaged and rather than knocking first, they just pulled on the door and even when saying someone was in there, carried on pulling. I noticed from the start to the end of the holiday, a few things became broken, like a toilet seat. Door lock was starting to rip off, hand towel holder had cracked, like come on! Be respectful! You're all adults! It's an adult only campsite, there are no excuses! Most negatives are towards other adults. Place is very peaceful and quiet, when you get other respectful adults. On the Friday, some people were very loud up until 11pm. Thank you Lucy and all the hard work you do.

Fabulous stay!

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional ElectricJul 2026

A little mixed review really. Nice little village close by with a lovely pub. The entrance of the site doesn't look the best where (first impressions count) there were run down buildings. Not sure what they are used for. A mixture of caravans/converted horse boxes looking very much worse for wear. Once you drive past that, driving onto a open field was quite nice. We stayed at a few sites on our travels and found this site was the least well presented for facilities. Shower/toilet cleanliness was okay. Was it worth £40 a night? We don't think so.

Site's response

And not a single concern raised with me, just an unfair critique because you didn't think it was worth the money to pitch on my campsite in your van with electric and a dog, high season, in the Cotswolds, 5 minutes from a beautiful historic town. I'm so proud of my site.

Amazing stay

We were met by, Lucy, the owner, who showed us to our pitch. Grass slightly sloping with electric. Privacy grass edging around each pitch, which was great. Large fridge freezer for campers use and free washing machine. Great pub in the town but a bit expensive. Only thing I would mention is the approach to the main camping area is a very scruffy and unkempt field full of very old and battered caravans or motorhomes. I feel this area needs fencing off or tidying up so as not to give such a bad first impression on entering the site. Other than that, I can't fault the rest of the camping fields.
