Lovely relaxing spot

Amazing site friendly staff

Lovely site, you can park or camp up anywhere, even amongst the orchard! Very friendly staff, facilities were cleaned regularly and very good. Loved it here! Will definitely be back!

Frittenden

Friendly and welcoming on arrival explained everything. Facilities good and mainly clean. Excellent had a run of the trees to ourselves! Love the stay

Great escape to the country

Lovely quiet site with gorgeous walk to the pub! Loads of space and can find a private little nook if you look around!

Lovely campsite

Basic camping but beautiful location. Modern facilities which were very clean. Owner very friendly and helpful.. not very busy and you could pitch wherever you liked so very spacy.. Obviously no electricity, but that is known upfront. Can charge phones in washing up area. Not a negative as it is what it is, but if Dianne opened a well stocked shop, she could make alot more money out of it, and it would be very useful. The alternative is to drive to headcorn for a shop. Just the basics milk eggs (apparently the onsite chicken eggs are sold but I didn't see any) bacon sausages etc. maybe some NICE wine and beer! Can't fault our stay.

Lovely campsite

Lovely campsite. Great clean facilities. Chickens on site with eggs to purchase - bring cash, we didn't! Lovely pub nearby. Shame about the others campers! There was a group of 2-3 caravans together to one end of the field with about 4/5 dogs that barked incessantly all day and evening. Very frustrating as it was lovely, quiet and calm and we heard barely a peep from the other campers who all had dogs and we took our own dog! Such a shame as it ruined the tranquil atmosphere. Also two young ladies walked past our tent at 5.30am shouting "wakey wakey"! Clearly this isn't the owners fault, but groups shouldn't be allowed together with that many dogs!

Lovely stay

Such a lovely and clean campsite - Diane met me at reception, showed me round and then left me to pick where I wanted to pitch up. Couldn't fault the campsite or its cleanliness. Diane was a fab host, nothing was to much trouble. I only mark 4* for location but that's only because I was on foot as my car is part of my set up, and I would have loved there to be a local shop with in walking distance, I mean, who doesn't like some extra snacks and maybe an ice cream - but saying that, such a relaxing stay for myself and my pooch, and not forgetting the amount of countryside with marked out walks that my dog loved 😁

Beautiful campsite with great host

Had a lovely warm welcome from the lady there. Toilets and shower rooms were spotless. Could pitch anywhere and so much open, level space to choose from

A beautiful little gem of a site

We had a lovely stay with our young family. The campsite was quiet, with loads of space. Nice clean facilities.

A very happy place

Diane was a delightful host; met us at the entrance and showed us around, with plenty of options of where to set up for the night. Picked up fresh eggs from the coop on the way round too. Top tip: check that the local pub serves food (it doesn’t Monday and Tuesday as we found out!). Oops. :-)

Perfect

For our first camping experience with a 5 year old child or was absolutely perfect. Very clean facilities, lots of space in the field or orchards for tents and in a beautiful area of Kent. We had a wonderful time. Thank you.

Our Summer Break

We enjoyed Our summer break very much, peaceful and relaxing. We were very concerned that there were a number of high flame fires / cooking devices being used with the grass very dry and parched. At the time there were many wild fires throughout the UK. One evening we were joined by a swarm of ' Flies / Fling Ants / Fruit Flies ? who tried hard to join us in the caravan. We managed to close roof lights and windows to limit there entry. however a small number managed to get in but were delt with with our on board fly spray. Fortunately they only appeared that one evening. Despite the above we really enjoyed our stay and recommend this site.

Thank you for your kind review. Regarding the 'fires', which you telephoned me about. I immediately approached the person concerned. It was a BBQ on a table, which had given an initial higher flame and was under control. They had taken the precaution of having plenty of water, as advised by myself at check-in.. I then walked around the 12 acre site checking for 'fires'. There was one other BBQ , completely under control I informed you that it was a BBQ on a table, to which you responded that you couldn't see that far to make out what it was. Yes, we need to be vigilant with bbq's especially when the ground is so dry. I wouldn't 6want to lose my business or house.

Excellent location

Excellent location, very quiet with plenty of spaces to camp. Facilities were spotless, excellent service.

Really nice little site would definitely go back and would recommend very clean and facilities were well above average and a very fair price

Beautiful stay

We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful layout. Our 2 year old loved running and weaving through lanes of apple trees! Simple but perfect facilities. Lovely warm showers. Host was excellent. A peaceful, quiet site. My daughter adored feeding the chickens. My only one comment would be that the freezer doesn't work very well for freezing ice packs, but since a fantastic fridge is also provided for all perishables, it caused no problems whatsoever. Would highly recommend.

Thank you for your kind review. The freezer is inside the garage, I suspect that you put your ice packs in the drinks chiller. Your daughter was a delight to have on site.

Beautiful and quiet, perfect for couples

What a little gem of a campsite! Tons of space to choose from, clean and modern facilities (they were absolutely immaculate when we arrived on Saturday afternoon), and the other campers were respectful and quiet too. We took a couple of recommendations from the description and headed into the woods at the back of the site for a little walk through the neighboring countryside. It made for a beautiful little 8km loop but we easily could have made our walk longer or shorter. Frittenden and its pub were lovely too. We stopped by the pub for dinner and a drink, and played some card games in the evening sun. Highly recommend if you don't fancy cooking in the evening. At night, the campsite was quiet. Several pitches had BBQs and there was a mix of families, couples, and small groups, but no one was very noisy and we had a good night's sleep.

Great site

Great site, large and well kept. Very friendly upon check in, everything was explained to us well. We're a family with small children and a dog on our first camping trip, we pitched up under the trees and had a very peaceful stay. Facilities are amazing, very clean and nicely kept. Kids loved seeing the chickens! Had a nice walk through the woodlands too. Beautiful clear night so got to see lots of stars which we were hoping for. Overall, amazing, peaceful stay amongst nature away from all the fuss. We will be staying again. Thanks for having us!

Fantastic place to stay plenty of space,showers n toilets really clean not far from the pub 15 minutes walk away

Great stay, great welcome

Came to Frittenden Orchard with a friend and our three-year-old daughters. Everything was great in terms of location and facilities and we were made to feel at home. Our daughters loved playing on the trampoline and running through the sprinkler.

Relaxing peaceful break

Absolutely loved this site set amongst an apple orchard. We were able to choose where to camp , a huge site so plenty of privacy . The facilities were new and pristine, showers , toilets and washing up area with a communal fridge . A 20 minute walk across fields with well marked footpaths to a pub , where food is available. Such a relaxing break , we will definitely be returning

Super secluded spot

This is a great secluded space, peaceful, and tranquil with fabulous amenities. Brand new loos and showers and a super helpful kitchen space with a fridge and phone charging. Diane has thought of everything ! Such a lovely site and I really enjoyed my stay . Great price too - thank you
