What a great place……

We first met Val when we arrived, and what an amazingly wonderful lady, I felt so at ease, I could chat to her all day, the perfect host. We stayed on the adult pitch with a magnificent view. It was peaceful, clean, and perfect. I could not think of one negative point about the campsite, I would highly recommend. I will definitely be going back. Loved it.

Aug 2026 stay at Brecon Beacons

We loved our stay at The Brecon Beacons Camping & Caravan Park. The views were outstanding, it was lovely and peaceful, although there were a lot of people staying. We loved the seclusion of the site we picked. Our only gripe would be we found it a bit unclear where the adult section was, but I think we picked it as our pitch(23) was perfect. The toilets and showers were ok, but we didn't use any other facilities. Given the weather, we were surprised people were allowed to use fire pits.

Wow the cleanest prettiest sight

Lovely quite campsite will definitely visit again. Perfect views great location very very very clean. Great recycle point and really hot showers. Lovely fact all hard standing pitches have electric point water tap and grey waste point. First class sight.

Excellent

This campsite was perfect for our needs. The staff were very helpful, the site is beautifully kept and the toilet/shower blocks were always clean. I would highly recommend this campsite.

Great dog friendly site

Staff are really friendly. Pitches are a great size and well separated felt very private.

Enjoyed Peaceful Relaxing Stay

Really enjoyed our stay with friends and pets. Peaceful and relaxing weekend. Excellent location. Picturesque with the view of the black mountains. Nice walks. Staff really helpful.

Grit in my sandles

Arrived to be greeted by a lovely lady, sadly I am not keen on sites with fine gravel pitches, it gets everywhere.

Dan-Yr-Ogof campsite

A lovely campsite, the staff were very welcoming. The facilities were clean as was the entire campsite. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Very tidy, attractive site

The only drawback to this lovely site was that they were cutting the hedges with a massive industrial hedge cutting tractor that made a hell of a noise, scared our dogs silly, when hedge trimming is not allowed during the nesting season.

Lovely location, site clean to a high standard, quiet, warden was helpful, my pitch was no. 25 and it was perfect for me, I felt safe definitely go again

Our stay in the Brecon Beacons

Beautiful location with access to great walks. The only thing that let it down was the quality of the showers and toilet block. The showers were disappointing.

Best bathrooms!

The view at the campsite was second to none, especially where we were at the top, stunning. The warden was very sweet and very informative. The showers were bloody incredible!! Private (very large) shower room with toilet and basin inside. Loved it!

Lovely site

Really lovely, clean site, showers were decent (warm and good pressure) cleaning facilities were good and the gentleman that was doing the rounds and welcomed us was very lovely. Just be careful of midges (not the sites fault at all obviously) we were swamped due to hefty changes in weather. Cannot complain about the site, ease of access, getting it booked or anything. We will be heading back for sure.

Excellant campsite

Very friendly wardon, choice of pitches, some under tree cover & there own enclosed area, seprate adults areas from family area, all campervan/caravan pitches had electric, water, & grey water disposal points, showers where fantastic & very clean, showers rooms where brilliant especilly if you have young children as you could all get in, disable friendly, ideal place to stay for visiting the show caves & for walkers

Excellent campsite

Excellent campsite, would definitely stay again. Perfect location for visiting the surrounding area. Only issue was that we chose an adult only area and it was filled with families as our stay went on. Excellent site, will definitely want to return but we chose a pitch in an adult only area for our 4 night stay and as the weekend got nearer, we noticed families arriving and then noticed the adult only area sign had been covered up and the site was full, so couldn't choose another pitch in other adult only areas where the signs had not been covered up. We had spoken to the warden a couple of times and he never informed us that the status of our pitch area was changing.

Thanks so much for review, and for the positive comments about the lovely site and location, but also for letting us know about the Adults Only area during the school holidays. We do keep our AO areas solely for adults, but the general 'family' pitch areas are often right next to them, and during the holidays it can get very busy with families with young children. We've taken this into consideration going forward when organising AO pitches for the run-up to and during the school holiday times. As of this autumn, the warden is considering a year's trial of Adults Only pitches throughout the site, so should you wish to stay with us again mid-September onwards, do check our booking site for available pitches. Trip to the Cavesd

First time taking grandson so wanted something to do as only had 1 day. Arrived on Friday site was clean and tidy and met by warden who was lovely and had 2 more wardens come around later to check all was ok with services etc. Toilet shower block was suitable although small for the size of the site. Had a lovely day in the caves Saturday Departed Sunday Morning.

A Peaceful Getaway in Beautiful Surroundings

We had such a lovely stay at the Brecon Beacons Caravan and Camping Park. The location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by stunning scenery with plenty of lovely walks from the site, It was peaceful and relaxing, especially if you manage to grab a little private pocket pitch tucked amongst the trees or beside the river. The whole site was spotless and very well kept. The warden was incredibly helpful, she was genuinely lovely to talk to, which made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The site itself is quite basic with no clubhouse or entertainment facilities, but that actually suited us perfectly as it kept the peaceful atmosphere. There are also a few local pubs within walking distance which was a bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a beautiful setting. We will definitely be returning!

Bank Holiday Getaway

Fantastic site for a perfect getaway. Plenty of walks with beautiful scenery, perfect little stop off down the road for some Good old skool pub grub, 'The Gwynne Arms', the chips are proper chips the hosts were very friendly and chatty, the cider is highly recommended 😉
