Queensberry Bay is located right on the edge of Powfoot Beach, making it ideal for relaxing coastal retreats. There are a number of quaint, historical towns nearby, including Dumfries and Carlisle, so there's plenty to see and do on your trip. After a day exploring the local area, you can head to the Sandpiper Cafe Bar to grab a bite to eat in a cosy, rustic atmosphere. Then you can settle in for some fantastic on-site entertainment. There is a range of grass and hardstanding pitches on the shores of the Solway Firth, so you can experience the great outdoors in a truly stunning setting. You'll also have use of all the facilities during your stay, including The Sandpiper Cafe Bar, shop, laundrette and on-site entertainment. The park is also dog-friendly, so your four-legged friends can join you for a fantastic holiday by the beach. For those looking for something with a few more home comforts, there is also a range of two and three bedroom static caravans available at Queensberry Bay. If you fancy a break with a touch of luxury, there are also Glamping Pods with gorgeous coastal views right on your doorstep. Accessible and pet-friendly caravans are also available, as well as pet-friendly Glamping Pods.

With Queensberry Bay's fabulous location, you'll have direct access to the beach to enjoy a relaxing, tranquil stroll. There is also a golf course next door, the perfect way to spend an afternoon.

If you fancy heading further afield, there are even more beautiful walking trails around Powfoot Lakes and nature reserves packed with local wildlife. Some of Scotland's most famous bird watching areas are located there, so be sure to check them out if you're a nature lover.

Carlisle is only half an hour by car, giving you a taste of history, charming independent shops and a breath-taking Cathedral to explore. Walby Farm Park can be found nearby, offering a fantastic family day out and seasonal events throughout the year.
