Large Tent - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024

Paul, who was working in the office was helpful and informative. He was welcoming and supportive. Very friendly and a real asset to the site. The site is split into two fields. We were at the top. During our stay we experienced thunderstorms and strong winds. If we were to return we'd book a place in the bottom field, closer to the amenities and a little more sheltered. We hired a fire pit, which came with logs and firefighters. It was £15, which was a little pricey. The Wi-Fi wasn't great, but if you sat at the bottom it improved. The facilities were immaculate. However, for such a busy site, two showers and two toilets for men and women was a struggle, often having to wait to use the shower. The washing machine and drier worked well, but only one of each. We really enjoyed our stay, even though we had a real mix of weather conditions. The site is well-situated, a stone's throw to Newgale beach, Haverfordwest, St David's and only 40 mins to Tenby. The site was quiet and those staying there were considerate to their neighbours, no loud music or disturbances, bliss! The site would suit all ages.

Excellent stay

Lovely two night stay at this site. Very welcoming, and helpful staff. Great location to jump onto the coastal path for a walk. The site was small and clean which made it very relaxing.

Good site

The site is good with clean facilities. Just remember to have cash to pay for showers and washing machines. Facilities were clean and okay but if the site was busier 2 showers would not be enough. Paul was super helpful and couldn't do enough to help and guide us. Lacked a bit of character, but did all you need from a site.

Motorhome - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024

We stayed here for 2 nights. The gentleman who booked us in was friendly and helpful. There are 2 showers each for men and women. This is not enough for the size of the campsite! Also, when I went to shower, the water was lukewarm and there was hair on floor and on parts of the wall of shower, you then have to pay for the use of it! We will not return.

One of the best site's we've visited

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024

We really enjoyed our stay at Rainbolts. The facilities were first class and clean. There was a very useful shop and it was good to have someone to ask about things for most of the day. Our pitch was perfect. The pitches were carefully marked out so no encroaching on anyone else's space. We were very close to a cold water tap and to the showers etc. The bin area was very well organised and clean. The field we were in was huge, with enough room for our dogs to run about and chase a ball and the children staying there to play cricket and football etc. We will definitely return at some point.

Nice, clean site, right by the main road

Nice campsite - not that big. Spotlessly clean and a very nice man on reception in the shop. Walk to a little lake and small dog walk area. Little shop on site. Right by a main road so was a certain noise level. Busy site with lots of children enjoying themselves, so not for those who want a quiet secluded place. Just 5 mins drive to the fabulous Newgale beach.

Good overnight stop on way to Fishguard

Very nice site. Luckily for me, it was early season and not too busy. Haverfordwest quite near and it's a beautiful drive.

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass PitchesJun 2024

Nice site next to main road, just up from the lovely Newgale beach. Was very quiet when we went, small shop on site, very clean toilets and showers, free Internet too. Victoria Inn serves a limited, but very good menu, the portions are massive but it's not cheap. A lack of security on site and being easily accessible, and paying for showers, are the only minuses. Nothing on site for kids.

Friendly and helpful

Friendly and helpful. Clean, good facilities. Walk to pub down a busy road. Only downside is it sits next to a busy road.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass PitchesMay 2024

We really enjoyed our stay here. We wanted to be close to St.Davids so we could explore the area and this campsite ticked all the boxes. A lovely quiet site with friendly staff - Paul was especially lovely who works in the shop. The site was set out very nicely and had stunning views. The Victoria Inn pub was only a 2 minute drive away and served lovely food! Log fires are available to purchase for in the evenings. We’ll definitely be back!

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesMay 2024

Fantastic small site with everything you need. Flat pitch, good washing up facilities and a friendly shop with all the essentials. The toilet/shower room was clean and really warm which was shelter from the chilly wind. I didn't mind the 20p for 2 min showers as this saves water and minimises wait times and we were prepared as we'd read this on the website before we arrived. 10 mins (£1) was enough time to wash mine and both my young daughters' hair. The staff were friendly and offered local advice for beaches. My younger daughter loved looking for snails and creatures in the plants. Would definitely visit again.

Great place to stay

The facilities were great. Cleanliness was great all the time we were there. I will be recommending it to friends and family. Also, lovely local pub and brewery just up the road.

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass PitchesMay 2024

Very welcoming even though arriving late, 10 pm. Given the option of hard standing due to the time. They allowed us to stop there for the duration of stay at no extra cost. I would recommend the site but during peak time I feel the facilities may be stretched slightly. Please don't let my above comment stop you from stopping there.

Excellent site and location.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass PitchesApr 2024

A lovely campsite in a great location. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. We had a grass pitch with an electric hook-up booked, but due to ground conditions, we were moved to a hardstanding pitch. This was most appreciated. We will be back to stay in a lovely location.

Large Tent - Electric Grass PitchesSep 2023

First time camping with our 2 young children and honestly couldn't fault Rainbolts Hill Farm. The shop onsite stocked food, drinks, toys etc and there's a burger van onsite, which was nice and reasonably priced. Shower block was kept clean and there was a laundry room if needed, too. Staff were friendly as well and there was plenty of space for the kids to run around. We all really enjoyed our stay and will return.

Lovely little campsite
