About the site

Located within the scenic Powys countryside, this small campsite offers a simple rural getaway. Or, there is a 7m x 9m hardstanding pitch for campervans only. If you want to leave the tent pegs behind, opt for one of the camping pods or cabins. Each includes simple essentials like a heater, electric sockets, a kettle and an outdoor picnic bench with a fire pit. Bedding and cooking equipment are not provided, so just be sure to bring your own. The camping pods measure 4.6m x 2.4m and are furnished with a double bed, two single beds and an underbed den area. Daisy cabin sleeps four with a double bed and double pull-out sofa bed, plus a table for meals. The Buttercup cabin sleeps five with a double bed and a triple bunk bed, along with a sofa for unwinding. The cabins also include a fire pit for toasting marshmallows. In the evening, guests can head to the communal games room or sit around the large campfire. There is also a small museum, 'Jerry's Museum of Nothing in Particular' on site, it houses curious and interesting items from by-gone times. At the entrance to the site, there is the Coffee Cupboard, which is a small space with a kettle and a few snacks that visitors and passers-by can use and enjoy, with an honesty box for payment. BBQs are allowed at pitches. Firewood and kindling are available on site. Well behaved dogs are welcome on site, with four permitted per pitch and two per glamping unit.

A note from the site themselves...

It is a blessing to be able to live and work here just outside a small village in Mid Wales, and to share this lovely setting with other people. We do that by way of our small camping and pod site, and love meeting folk from all over the place!

We love the trees and enjoy gradually developing the garden areas dotted around, in what used to be a smallholding with sheep and cows. Geese and chickens have now replaced the sheep and cows, and the wild bird song and dark night skies are a constant joy to us.
