Medium Tent - Medium Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2026 Great campsite or a last minute get away.
Very clean, well stocked shop and cafe / restaurant with a pretty good selection of food available.
Also an onsite pop-up bar was great.
We’ll definitely visit again.
Lovely campsite
Medium Tent - Medium Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2026 A great location on the Gower with great beaches within a short drive. The staff were lovely and very helpful. There was a shop and a lovely little cafe. However, it is a big site with only one toilet block which meant a long walk to the toilet for many campers.
Perfect site

Easy to locate, welcoming staff, all the essentials in the on-site shop. Fantastic food and drink in the café. Strong security around the site, especially with the self-operating barriers with registered cars.
I'm always worried about the site being too crowded, but the pitches were perfectly spaced out, more so as we were on an electric pitch. The facilities were simple, toilet, sink, shower and they needn't be more than that. Plentiful in cubicles, so you'd rarely be waiting for turn in one of the many showers and more importantly, to a very clean standard.
Would 100% visit again.
1ST VISIT FOR THE ECLIPSE
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2026 Central location for visiting Gower however transport required even though bus stop at entrance as infrequent service.
Site probably at 75% capacity however washing up and showers were warm at best.
1 bonus is well stocked site shop with reasonable pricing not usual captive audience rip off.
Nice to have secured enclosed sizeable dog walk area.
Helpful freindly staff.

Lovely stay
Large Tent - Large Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2026 We had a lovely stay here. The camp was spacious and clean and tidy, the staff in the shop and café were so friendly and helpful.
The showers were lovely, toilets clean. It would be lovely to have a pool at this site. The site near to the beaches was handy, the onsite shop had everything you needed and good price too.
Overall, we had a lovely stay for our first ever camping trip.

Large Tent - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2026 Excellent campsite with stunning views and well-kept grounds.
The facilities are very clean and hygienic. For a small refundable deposit, we could use a private wet room. This made showering three little ones so much easier. The staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. A communal freezer is available, which helped keep our food fresh since we did not use an electric hook up (though hook ups are available).
My only small downside is that there is no play area for young children, such as a slide or swings. However, there is plenty of open space for them to run around and play.
We would love to visit again and highly recommend this site.

VW-Type Campervan - Large Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2026 We stayed thru the week,leaving on the Saturday morning. We enjoyed it very much and will return. Situated with much to see within 30 mins. Excellent safe dog walking area.
The only negative would be that when the site got really busy at the weekend 4 shower cubicles were not enough.

Motorhome - XL Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2026 Lovely site, friendly staff that cant do enough for you. Always nice and clean, grounds well kept.
Only thing that could be slightly improved is to perhaps limit the amount of very large family groups camping together, as very noisy at times.

Large Tent - XL Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2026 The location, staff and initial drive into the site was very nicely laid out, the staff were very polite and helpful..
The only downside was the smell from the bin locations adjacent to the reception and around to the takeaway area, it wasn't the most pleasant. Also, the facilities are a bit dated but clean and useable.
Would use the site again.

The staff were all really friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. The shop was well-stocked and my children loved the little pocket money toys that they could buy to remember their stay. The location was beautifully scenic, and close to the beach, which was stunning. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back!
A gem of a discovery
VW-Type Campervan - Medium Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2026 I can't recommend this site highly enough. Excellent and clean facilities, staff who clearly enjoy their jobs and an on-site restaurant and shop. I'm already organising my next visit!

Onsite cafe is great for breakfast.
We went to this site as we were attending the Wales Air Show in Swansea, by the time we got back to site it was all locked up. There was a car before us also waiting, we got told that the site is locked at 11pm., maybe let people know or give them some access if attending events. But would still use this site again.

Not so quiet!
VW-Type Campervan - Large Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2026 We read many reviews on Kennexstone before booking which stated how peaceful and quiet the site is, which was exactly what we were looking for.
Unfortunately for us, and maybe just bad timing, there was two very large groups staying at the same time as us. Now, I'm not against people having fun and in many ways, it was heart warming to see friends and family all sharing a passion for camping and all getting along and having fun. The downside to this is many of the games took a lot of space and on numerous occasions, our tent was struck by footballs. The groups also liked to sit out and talk late into the evening even though there is a quiet policy after 10pm. Like I said, I'm not against people having fun but the expectation was for a quiet campsite which on this occasion it certainly wasn't.
In regards to the campsite itself, everything else was as advertised, facilities were basic but clean and well maintained, staff were super friendly and helpful. The café on site was a nice bonus and the food was very good. Location wise you are only a short drive to all the Gowers' famous beaches.
Would I recommend Kennexstone? Yes I would. It's a lovely campsite but please be aware, it may not be as peaceful as some reviews have stated.

Nice campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Medium Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2026 Beautiful campsite. Would've been nice to have had more to do. This was picked as it states close to beach.
In fact it isn't close to beach, so wasn't happy about that. Food at restaurant was a bit boring. The jacket potato was dry and the the kids fish had more batter than fish. Hubby said pizza was lovely. Being a vegetarian myself, I would loved more of a choice and served soy milk as well as oat.
Showers were odd. I had to keep pushing the button to keep washing. Kids playing football and riding bikes very close to where we were camping which set my dogs off. Almost hit my car with baseball and football. Love the spooky tree in the camping field.
