Lovely safe dog walking field.
Nice walk to a few local pubs that serve great food.
Lovely micro bar selling real ales and Whiskys.
Highly recommend for a great weekend away!
Medium Tent - Large Electric Grass Pitches (Adult Only) Aug 2026 Great campsite, everything you need and the extra touches e.g shop, bar and cafe make it much more enjoyable! Facilities are really clean and well maintained. Staff were really helpful and friendly. The views from the site were amazing and nothing was too far of a drive!

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches (Adult Only) Aug 2026 Super site with well kept grounds and facilities. Bus route outside the site that takes you to Bakewell for £3. Can access many of the small villages along the route. Also, from the same stop a Sightseeing Bus for £14. Would definitely visit again.

Super friendly and helpful greeting, show to our pitch and given a comprehensive low down on where everything is. 5 min walk into the village, train station over the road if you want to venture further afield.

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2026 The best site we have been on with our motorhome. Everything was new and clean. Big bonus was having the Hope train station just a few minutes away.

The road noise was a little 'out there' but blends away after a day or two.

4 days hiking whilst camping at Laneside Medium Tent - Medium Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2026 Fantastic site with great facilities. The staff were always happy to help with anything I needed, including late checkout for additional £10. Turned out that I didn’t need it but it was nice to know I had the pitch until 4pm if required.
The facilities were very clean and fresh, and they were cleaned daily whilst we were there.
The weekend breakfast serving was very welcome and enjoyable.
The location is superb if you like walking. You can get to most of the popular walks by foot or a very short drive.
Located in Hope and a stones throw away from Castleton and Hathersage, all of which are perfect for food, drinks or just a wander around.
Will certainly be coming back.

Beautiful site
Medium Tent - Medium Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2026 A lovely site! Friendly staff, clean facilities and beautifully kept grounds. The river was the highlight for my daughter, who spent most of her time wading in it, such a wonderful experience for children. We were thrilled when we found out they had a cafe open for breakfast every morning and fresh pizzas on Wednesday evenings. Can’t recommend this site enough.

Medium Tent - Medium Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2026 Thanks for a wonderful stay, from start to finish our stay was fantastic, Staff were friendly and welcoming , the location was perfect for getting out and about with plenty of places to walk to including the local drinking establishments in Hope Village, treated ourselves to a lovely Coffee from Pitch to Plate on site, may try a breakfast sandwich next time, Booked again for the end of August, would definitely recommend this campsite 🏕️

VW-Type Campervan - Large Electric Grass Pitches (Adult Only) Jul 2026 Although the campsite was full on the day we arrived, the atmosphere was still chilled and peaceful.
Nights 2 and 3 it was less busy. Ample space for our VW campervan plus awning (pitch Z4) and the 10:30pm noise curfew meant we had a good night's sleep! New shower facilities and food/drink café were 'spot on'.
Beautiful surroundings with lots to do - we'd definitely return so we can explore more of the area.
Nice site in a great location
Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2026 Friendly welcome on arrival and shown to our pitch. Site is in a great location - 5 minutes walk to Hope and half hour walk into Castleton so lots of pubs / cafes to choose from nearby. Lots of walks directly from the site.
The bar and food cabin were open at the weekend but we did not make use of them.
Modern toilets and showers, generally okay, although there were times when they needed a clean (site was pretty full so facilities very busy).
Site is nicely laid out and established and we heard no road noise from our pitch which was fully serviced hard standing. However, please note that these pitches are next to a sewerage plant and there was an awful smell. I would return to the site but definitely not to the same pitch.

Fabulous amenities
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2026 This is a great site, with lots of on site extras, such as a bar, café and nail bar.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. The village of Hope is a short walk away, with a few pubs and restaurants.
We also walked to Castleton which is also very nice. There is a bus stop outside of the site which can take you further afield.
The one downside was our pitch was right next to the road, so we could hear everyone's conversations as they walked past and the constant traffic noise was annoying and disrupted sleep
If we came again we would request a different plot.

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2026 Lovely place to visit. The team were really helpful. The showers & toilets were nice and clean. Good space to wash up.
The bar and food area was also a nice place to sit, enjoyed drinks & pizza and a morning breakfast bun.
Site was well kept. Being a short walk into Hope it was nice not to need to drive everywhere if you did not want too.
