Beautiful campsite in wildflower meadow
VW-Type Campervan - Grass Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2023 A really gorgeous campsite with very helpful owners Matt and Roy (and Claire who welcomed us when we arrived slightly early).
It was great having our own loo! Very good showers. Beautiful views and we thoroughly enjoyed camping right next to the wildflower meadow. Would definitely return.
About 20 mins walk on to Dartmoor. Another time we may bring our car too and just park it so we can explore further afield easily as we had our campervan this time.
Will definitely return and have already recommended it to friends.

We have 10 loos on site and do try to allocate one to pitch to one loo where possible. It is just nicer that way!
There are some really nice footpaths and lanes around the edge of the moor to explore on foot or by bike. All around South Brent, Owley and Aish. Quite hilly though being Dartmoor!

Awesome little campsite
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2023 The campsite is good, with a beautiful view. It is on a hill but the pitches are quite level. Toilets and showers were clean. Not many other facilities available but it is a minimalistic campsite. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely stay for 2!
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2023 Campsite owner (Ron) very polite and welcoming. Toilets and showers kept to a lovely standard and seemed to be cleaned daily. Completely accessible water and bins and the campsite is located next to a field with cows (if you think cows are cute) so major bonus. Had a very enjoyable stay!!

We can't guarantee cows as they can be quite seasonal but there are often some to look at.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2023 Stayed for 2 nights, we turned up, found a pitch and set ourselves up. It was wonderfully quiet and very peaceful. Highly recommend. The shower and bathroom were clean and the water was warm and lovely.

Tranquil natural campsite - excellent Bell tent
Bell Tent - Bell Tent (4.5m) Jul 2023 Stayed here three times now with a young family - brilliant! New to camping but will always keep coming back.

Beautiful spot
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2023 A very special and beautiful spot right on the edge of the moor with pitches spread out effectively for lots of privacy, and views of rolling countryside. There are lots of clean toilets and showers. The owners were very friendly. Lovely local pub just down the road.

Amazing campsite, beautiful views in a very peaceful setting
VW-Type Campervan - Grass Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2023 Thank you for a wonderful stay, we had two very peaceful days on this unique campsite.
The views are amazing and facilities are kept beautifully clean.
I would highly recommend this campsite for anyone wanting to explore this beautiful part of Devon.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2023 What a fab site, felt like we were wild camping but with the comfort of a shower and a loo! Spotlessly clean showers and toilets. Lovely warm welcome from Roy, who clearly loves what he does, keep up the great work. Fantastic views across Devon rolling hills.
We met Anita on our way out after packing up our tent, she was preparing the Shepherds Hut for the next guest and was equally enthusiastic and offered to show me the Shepherds Hut, a great alternative in the cooler months, very quaint and cosy. The only negative - we were unable to get hot water for pot washing, but this did not spoil our stay at this wonderful site.
