Handy for everything!
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2023 We are already looking forward to returning to Briarfields. We were very happy with our pitch (no.8) we were shaded in the morning and able to soak up the sun in the afternoons.
The shower block and washing up area were exceptionally clean and the water was hot at all times. The location was perfect for accessing Cheltenham and Gloucester by bus, with the stops just outside the site. There is a fixed price of £2 for any single journey (at the time of writing) which is cheaper than buying a return and much easier than driving yourself. As other reviewers have said, there is some road noise and we were probably best placed to hear it, but it didn't bother us at all. After all, you can't be on the edge of a very large town and expect deep country silence.
The site is near to Gloucester airport so expect light aircraft to over fly from time to time. Again, we didn't find this overly intrusive. Personally I liked watching the small planes flying over. There are a number of shops very close to the site, including an Asda superstore and an Aldi. I cycled to them on two days and it's just a few minutes, perhaps a ten to fifteen minute walk. This was handy for picking up fresh ingredients instead of bringing everything with us. The owners clearly work very hard to keep this site in great condition and were great with giving us instructions for a slightly late arrival.

One night stay
Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Aug 2023 Can't give a true review, only stayed 1 night. Great location for a walk into town and a great location just off the motorway as a stopover.

Site is very well maintained with excellent facilities which were exceptionally clean.

Aug 2023 Highly recommended! Great size pitch, clean and modern facilities and exceptionally peaceful. Great fish and chips that I understand are gluten free, a 7 minute drive away!

Convenient location with good facilities
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2023 This site was very convenient for Cheltenham, Gloucester and surrounding villages. It’s suburban location means that you don’t get the views but that’s not why we chose it. The staff were helpful. The facilities were good being well maintained and clean. Pitch was a good size with hedges either side. Would visit again
