Family friendly campsite
Medium Tent - Non Electric Pitches (Seaside Field) Aug 2026 Had a lovely stay at The Hollies Leisure Resort. Great base for exploring Norfolk and Suffolk. Family friendly site with clean bathrooms and helpful staff. Good walks and beach access.
Family trip
Large Tent - Non Electric Pitches (Seaside Field) Aug 2026 Me and my cousins came for two nights and brought all our kids.
We all had a fantastic time and happened to choose a beautiful weekend. We tried the fish and chip place it was lovely and it offered plenty of options for the kids too.
All facilities close by and the campground was easy to navigate and very tidy.
Never again VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding and Grass Pitches Aug 2026 I'll cut this short, never again! Feral kids, dogs off leads, with mine being injured.

Great location
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding and Grass Pitches Aug 2026 The staff were very friendly and helpful, great location for exploring Suffolk coast. Mobile food vans on site at weekends, they were well used but we didn’t try them.
Ladies showers were not very clean in the evening , and soap dispensers didn’t work. I didn’t have the opportunity to raise this with staff.

Large Tent - Non Electric Pitches (Seaside Field) Aug 2026 Great stay at The Hollies, every thing was clean and easy to access.
The only advise or feedback is to contact The Hollies (in the summer months) before you go, just in case they have advised "no fires or BBQs" as we were only advised the morning we got there and checked in and this information wasn't online before we travelled.
The restriction on no fire and BBQs was totally understandable though due to the recent hot weather and local wild fires, but as not advertised w(e checked before we travelled just in case). We didn't get the message, so had to purchase a gas stove in the next town, which we where allowed.
But, this didn't affect us or the time we spent there as it ticked all the boxes for a big family to have fun.
P.s, if you get the timing right, the sun rises are amazing! And don't forget to look up at the stars at night to look out for the shootings stars - we were very lucky to catch both.
Very nice holiday and location
Medium Tent - Non Electric Pitches (Seaside Field) Aug 2026 We arrived at The Hollies with a warm welcome. The reception was very helpful, good see people with smiles and welcoming.
The size is fairly big, can pitch up anywhere where there is space and we were on the seaside pitch, right at the top of the cliffs, just at the end. Lovely benches and some steps down to the beach.
On site, they have coffee/tea van open in the mornings and in the evening fish and chips bar next to reception open every evening and on the weekends, breakfast bar (van). Everything you need.
The shower and toilets blocks are very well looked after, they clean them 3 times a day which I thought was really good, not like other sites. Even the extra portaloos are very nice, not average ones that we all dread to go in.
Other things to mention - there is a park warden that goes round making sure you're enjoying yourself and makes you feel your stuff is safe when you go out for the day and the site has got a barrier, so not anyone can go on.
Really enjoyed staying here. Me and the missus are saving this site to go again and hopefully some friends and family will join us next time. 100% all round.

Lovely welcome from the onsite team and delicious fish & chips for dinner! Could benefit from more than one location for a freezer and also a bigger playground.

A coffee pod onsite and breakfast truck. Also, fish and chips van. All very good value and tasted lovely. We had a plot next to the children's area and showers and, to be honest, wasn't the best. Kids playing until half ten at night screaming and people walking onto our plot, past our van, to get to the showers.
Elsan point and toilets, so we didn't have any privacy. However, there are other plots that were more quiet and private. It was that it was fully booked and that was the only pitch available, short walk to the end of the site brings you to the beach and there are very steep steps to get down to it. But, it was clean and dog friendly on the whole.
We would return, really lovely site and the weather was amazing.
Perfect for families or parties
Large Tent - Non Electric Pitches (Seaside Field) Jul 2026 This site is perfect for families, however if you want somewhere quiet, this is not for you.
We were welcomed on arrival and were able to pick where to pitch, this was easier said than done. It was busy with only small areas left. We moved once due to the noise and when we located somewhere else, the people next to it did not want us pitching there.
We did find somewhere eventually and pitched our tent, we thought we would go down to the beach. The steps are extremely steep and the dog was scared of them, this is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. It clearly states dogs should be on a lead however, there were several roaming off the lead with one constantly running off and around. Our first night was not the best but our final night was better, the showers and toilet had been cleaned and the park warden was doing their rounds regularly.
More people arrived and it felt more enclosed, I felt like the company wanted to make more money over customers comfort, which I understand as it is a business, but just not for me.

Two night stay in July
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding and Grass Pitches Jul 2026 Gorgeous site right by the beach with coffee van, burger van.and ice cream van whenever you need it. Also fish and chips at the weekend! An onsite shop would be good but we had a fab stay.

So clean & great food trucks & coffee truck & a short stroll straight onto the beautiful beach. Cant wait to return very soon.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding and Grass Pitches Jul 2026 We only stayed for one night. But found the facility in excellent condition, all very clean and fresh. The site looked very well maintained and was lovely and tidy.
Last be certainly not least the staff were friendly and helpful. Especially explaining in detail where everything is.
Overall it was an excellent stay, and certainly wouldn’t hesitate to go back there again

Underwhelming Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding and Grass Pitches Jun 2026 Was really disappointed with this site. The reception was clean and modern and staff welcoming but it went downhill from then.
Pitch size was good. Negatives were the field for motorhomes had some of the pitches obviously occupied all year - there was an advert to say pitches all year available and very scruffy units that looked out of keeping with the rest of the site. Dogs roamed free despite being supposed to be on a lead.
I was surprised there was no shop at all on site - this is not a small site. Advertises chip shop but that is not open all week.
Water and grey waste point for motorhomes was on a map but not clear/obvious when you looked. Would not return.
Pleasant site
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding and Grass Pitches Jun 2026 We booked the night before our stay, on arrival we were pleased to find that we had been allocated a different pitch, as the original pitch, confirmed by email, was near the entrance and busy road.
The pitches are a good size, the site is near to the cliffs with stairs down to the beach level.
We went to watch the sunrise for the summer solstice and it was a lovely experience.
