Lovely
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2023 Lovely place, was a practice for us with a 19 month old. We only stayed 1 night in the end as the weather wasn't great and we hadn't travelled far.
Will go back and try again for sure.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2023 I was so impressed. Fabulous setting and facilities were wonderful and so clean.
Stayed just to go to Bala Lake, I went to two main spots on the lake which are easy to get to, bike or drive.
As a single traveller who relies on my phone (too much I'm sure!) I would have liked a place to be able to plug in a charger. I would be willing to pay an additional charge.
Really recommend the site and plan to return.

Lovely campsite
May 2023 We've been here 4 times now and grow to love it more and more each time we stay.
Wonderful value for money! We shall be making it a regular place to stay. We wouldn't stay anywhere else now when we visit Bala Lake.
Owners are so lovely, so helpful, and kind people. They work tremendously hard to keep the site pristine.

May 2023 We have been coming to Bwch Yn Uchaf for 6 years, it never disappoints! The site is beautifully looked after, the facilities are clean and the children have loads of things to do.
Due to the glorious weather we actually spent a couple of our days onsite chilling out. The children didn't say they were bored once! We will keep coming back for the amazing scenery, warm welcome and quiet evenings. Thanks to Bethan and Gareth for another wonderful stay.

Amazing views and my 1 year old loved the river and playing in the park. Will most definitely be back.
Small and clean with great countryside Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2023 Very pretty location inbetween two mountain ranges. A good peaceful base location for a few days. Not a lot in the way of local pubs etc but that’s the point and the price reflects this. Perfectly clean and well thought out. The river running through the site was a charm. Perfect basic site that suited my weekend requirements.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2023 Fabulous campsite! Facilities are great, well maintained, clean and ample. Lovely surroundings with the river running through and the night sky was well worth paying for!
Right next to the Bala Lake Railway which is also worth the trip. All around great and will definitely be back!
