Great for animal lovers, Knowle Donkey Sanctuary Campsite offers a peaceful base in the West Midlands, with rescued donkeys as your neighbours. The site has five grass and hardstanding pitches, each with optional metered electric. There is water hook up on each pitch. Guests enjoy a dog run, plus fresh eggs and honey for sale. A cosy pub is just five minutes away, with the NEC and M42 both within a 15 minute drive.

What a fantastic experience. Ssuch a relaxing peaceful place, stayed just one night in our VW T5 camper, Saturday until Sunday with a 3 year old toddler who just couldn't keep away from the donkeys. The fresh air and the quietness really did knock him out early, only he was so excited to see them again, he was up at the crack of dawn - boooo! Water at pitch. Electric at pitch. So much space. If this place had a toilet and wash station, I wouldn't want to try anywhere else. But, I must add, I think this is in hand and will soon be a feature - please let this happen. We walked just a 5 minute walk to the King's Arms for our dinner. We had booked already (which I suggest you do as I can see it gets busy). The road can be a bit busy on your journey but it's really not that far. Had a lovey start to our Sunday morning. Normally, our little lad is happy to get back in the van, only this time, we had to bribe him with a trip to grandma's where he's spoiled rotten. Thank you.

Friendly welcome great little site loved the donkeys alpaca’s and sheep in the fields and the greeting from the electric lawnmower and it’s only going to get better when man n lady who own it get facilities up and running
