Glamping Pod - Black Mountain Pemberton Ensuite Glamping Pod with Hot Tub Jul 2025 Me and my family stayed hear at the end of July. This is now our go to place to stay when we come back to Brecon Beacons. We stayed in the Black Mountain Lodge, the views are stunning! Especially sat in a hot tub :D
The Chalet itself is beautiful, lovely Norwegian wood vibe, all the amenities and got to admit, some pretty comfortable beds. The double we slept on in the room was very comfortable, had hot tub, BBQ, towels, it was like a mini luxury hotel. Just a really, really, nice place to stay. It's quiet, accommodates families or couples, so no loud noises and with an easy commute to the Brecon Beacons and Brecon itself. About a 5 minute drive out of Brecon, to Cradoc golf course and your off.
I cannot rate this place highly enough. 10/10 accommodation, 10/10 location, 10/10 views, 10/10 amenities, 10/10 hosts - Rachel was lovely and was very welcoming. So if you're going anywhere near Brecon or the Beacons then this place is a must stay!

Glamping Pod - Glamping Pods with Hot Tubs Jul 2025 What a beautiful pod and breath-taking views. We had a lovely time and what a place to spend our 20 years together. the facilities are clean and very modern with a beautiful finish. I would recommend staying here. Close to a beautiful town with historic buildings and very friendly people.
I would definitely book to stay again, we had so much fun in the driving range and chilling in the hot tub with the mountain views at evenings was breath-taking and peaceful. Thank you 😊
4 very peaceful nights
Glamping Pod - Black Mountain Pemberton Ensuite Glamping Pod with Hot Tub Jul 2025 Myself and my husband spent four peaceful nights at 68 Degrees West in Cradoc, Brecon, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish.
Location & views (10/10). Set in the heart of the Brecon Beacons, the setting is simply stunning—with uninterrupted views over the Black Mountains and Pen y Fan. The peaceful, elevated position made it feel like our own private retreat.
Pods & amenities. Our pod was cosy, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything we needed. The kitchenette came stocked with tea, coffee, sugar, cutlery, a gas hob, toaster, kettle, and small fridge—perfect for quiet meals in front of a roaring wood burner or with the doors wide open to enjoy the summer evenings. The bathroom and shower was a little small, but exactly what you'd expect in a little glamping pod, and they were immaculate and well maintained. While the pod was very comfortable, the only potential issue is the fridge is quite small—adequate for basics, but limited for larger items.
Hot tub & outdoor space. The private hot tub overlooking the rolling hills was the highlight—ideal for an evening soak for us after a long day of riding on the motorbike on the way down from Holyhead. The deck area and BBQ made it perfect for unwinding and star-gazing.
Hosts & service. Hosts Rachel and Lewis were warm, attentive, and helpful—providing local recommendations and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Their hospitality was much appreciated.

Glamping Pod - Black Mountain Pemberton Ensuite Glamping Pod with Hot Tub Mar 2025 We really enjoyed our weekend glamping.
The site itself was well laid out and quiet, although I think every pod was occupied. We had a warm welcome from the owners who took time to explain how things worked and where everything was.
The pod was gorgeous, so compact and absolutely spotlessly clean. Lots of lovely touches such as soft blankets in case the weather was cold, coffee machine and tea/coffee/ sugar etc available when we arrived. The hot tub was amazing - especially in the rain the first night of our stay.
Just as lovely on the warmer and drier second day, it gave a really luxurious touch to the glamping experience. The views from the hot tub were amazing, seeing the sunset colouring the mountains as we sat in the hot tub was magical. We will definitely be back, it was a fantastic stay.
Breath-taking views, pure relaxation
Glamping Pod - Glamping Pods with Hot Tubs Jan 2025 Myself and my partner had the most peaceful wonderful weekend staying at 68 Degrees West.
The views were breathtaking and I've never felt so relaxed. Is what we both needed. We ate out on both nights and only took around 5 minutes or so in the car to get to restaurants or even popping to the shop, which was handy.
The communal showers and toilets were spotlessly clean. We couldn't fault the place. We will definitely be returning.
