Family trip with some friends in a well-maintained site in a nice location with good facilities. Everyone had fun! Stayed in the family field with the playground. I am sure the site would cater well for couples who want a bit more peace and quiet too (though the peacocks, whilst nice to see wandering around, do have a fair bit of noise until the sun goes down!).

Lovely campsite and very picturesque. Everything you would want on site. 2 really nice pubs in Birchover. Clean showers and toilets. Can't fault it.

Enabling a large group to get away together, split between a barn, the camping field and hard standing. Barn Farm does an absolutely stand-up job.
Excellent as always

Third time we have stayed here. Perfect campsite. Site well looked after, cleaning and bin clearing done regularly and site and facilities always clean. Perfect location. Only issue (not a complaint) was pitching fabric tent in field alongside footpath on right, large tree dropped fruit on to fabric tent (stain may not be removable), maybe alert fabric tent owners of this possibility?

Beautifully kept site with stunning views across the surrounding countryside. Facilities first class, very clean. Within very easy walking distance of two good pubs at the top of a very quaint village, with friendly local people. I will definitely be returning to this site.

It's the second time we have stayed at Barn Farm and it was lovely and peaceful. The facilities are spotless and the walk to the stones is highly recommended, as is dinner and drinks in the Druid.

Lovely site with excellent facilities. Some dogs off leads and some barking at night, but otherwise a peaceful site. Good to see youngsters doing D of E camping and enjoying themselves.

Lovely site. Didn't give it a 5 simply because if you have a shop on site for essentials why on earth would it be closed on a Saturday and Sunday - the busiest days outside school term! There wasn't an obvious shop to walk to and as newbies we were a little less prepared than seasoned campers. Everything else was great! Roomy pitches for your caravan and on-site cleaning.

Great campsite for families - plenty to entertain the kids on site, and good food options on site. Interesting hiking / running / climbing in the area and a couple of good local pubs in the village.

We had a wonderful weekend with friends and kids age 5. The kids park was great and facilities perfect. The toilets and showers were spotlessly clean and in a beautiful location. Lovely walks from the campsite. I would definitely return to Barn Farm and would recommend it to families, couples or groups of any age, really fab campsite.

Beautiful campsite with wide open fields, next to a great village with two pubs. Great facilities, lots of toilets and hot showers. Our teens loved the games room. Didn't even notice the hoards of DofE students as the site is so big and they were all incredibly well behaved. We've already booked to come back again.

Had a great weekend, campsite lovely and toilets very clean ๐ Pizza and chip van on site was great value for money๐ One disappointment was keeping the noise down at 10:30pm at weekends. I think 11 better and when you can hear a party going on down the road too ๐ค The security man was a stickler and the camp shop could be open better hours too!

Really lovely site, very well organised and lots of unexpected extras (like badminton net, a coffee van, plenty of pot washing areas and wood fired pizza available in the evening which was worth every penny!). We were also really pleased at how nice the facilities were - the showers were clean and hot, the toilets were clean, well maintained and we never had to queue. It was a fairly busy site with Duke of Edinburgh, loads of large families, kids and pets running about, etc etc. so perhaps not the most romantic or quiet of places, but this place is a very safe bet if you want a pleasant, easy and fun camping experience.
