VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Touring PitchesMay 2026

Good stay. The reception lady helped because we had booked the wrong days. Ver lively, lots of dogs, lots of kids. The toilets were alright, the showers too.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesApr 2026

We spent 3 nights in our own large tent on a pitch elevated above the site, with sea views across the campsite and a small, yet thick wooded area behind us acting as wind protection - a stage for multiple varieties of birds for their dawn chorus in the morning. The campsite was very well maintained and neat as a pint. We were informed that we were the first visitors with a tent on this area formally a small football pitch and with that this area was prominently ours for the 3 evenings. We travelled with our 2 children and 2 dogs and it felt very personal and exclusive with being the solitary tent. No complaints though! The campsite facilities were spot on, short walk to shower block and toilets, very close to the new and smart play park/climbing frames, leisure and bar/restaurants and shop within 1 min walk. Dog friendly staff and visitors and a treat to take our 2 large dogs in to the restaurant with us. We were very happy. Not having to leave them in the tent. All in all, the site, cleanliness, facilities, staff first class. The warden on initial arrival was great, informative, helpful and asked for our feedback thoughts. We came away with only one we could think of and that was due to the tent pitch area being elevated. Luckily, we drive and AWD but feel some cars, especially depending on weather, would struggle to access this area. I've no doubt of the wardens awareness already and obvious fix would be hardcore / tar / concrete slope to access. To summarise. Great 3 nights, would highly recommend and hope to return soon. Thanks.
