Lady Margaret's Park Experience Freedom Glamping is a woodland, family friendly park within five minutes of National Trust Chirk Castle, Chirk Aqueduct and Viaduct, and the town centre. Choose from a range of ensuite glamping options, including pods, cabins and safari tents. Each has a modern interior, equipped kitchen, WiFi, a TV, outdoor area and more. There is an onsite play park and dog walking area, with Wrexham a 15 minute drive away!

Safari Tent - Large Deluxe Ensuite Safari Tent (Dog Friendly)Aug 2026

This site is perfect for families and children. We stayed as a group of two adults and six children and it was AMAZING! ⭐️ The facilities inside the safari tent were beyond our expectations - dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle plus all the little extras you need such as tea bags, sugar, hand wash, washing up liquid, cloths etc etc! The children’s “den” bed was like a secret treehouse and they fell in love, as did we. It is a quiet, smallish site and the safari tents are tucked away to the bottom. Perfect for kids on bikes (sensibly) and exploring nearby Chirk. The hosts were fantastic. Friendly, informative and so welcoming to us. There is parking nearby the tent and little trolleys provided to transport the luggage - which the kids actually wanted to help with! Such a special time spent here. We’ll be back - for longer next time! ❤️

Such a lovely, peaceful location. Easy walk into the village and to local places, lots of walks around so is a good base. Site was clean, friendly and so relaxing. Staff were amazing! Lodge was modern and new, with lots of lovely touches that make the stay enjoyable- the dog treats on arrival were a lovely touch. Was so nice sitting on the deck watching wildlife (lots of bunny’s hopping about) in such a serene location

Great site clean and well maintained Quite and close to centre and other attractions in walking distance ie train station viaduct and canal.

Absolutely stunning pod! The first thing we said when we walked in was "wow"! It was absolutely spotless and it was so cosy and welcoming. Was a lovely welcome at the reception to collect our key to the pod. I wish we could have stayed for 3 nights or more! The shower was lush! Such beautiful water pressure, was such a nice addition. The only downside was the internet connection was quite poor, had to hotspot the TV to my phone data in order to watch Netflix / Prime Video. But other than that the stay was perfection! Thank you to the kind staff. We would love to visit again!
