About the site
With stunning countryside views, this family and dog-friendly site offers the ultimate glamping getaway. Located in both the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and the Howardian Hills National Landscape, the site is surrounded by picturesque landscapes for you to explore. The 10 acre site offers just five bell tents, each accommodating up to five guests. Inside you will find a cosy king-size bed, along with up to three air beds if extra guests are coming along. You can bring your own bedding or book one of the luxury bedding packs. Each tent is also equipped with all of the utensils and crockery you will need, warm and cosy blankets, hot water bottles, torches and fairy lights. To keep everyone entertained, you will also be provided with a selection of books and games. Outside your tent, you will find your log store / cooking station / pantry, a table and chairs, along with a fire pit and BBQ, great for a spot of al fresco cooking. You will also have your own shower and compost loo in an outdoor hut, with washing-up facilities just outside and a washing line for those wet towels. Due to its wonderful rural location, the site often enjoys glorious clear night skies making it the perfect spot for stargazing. Dogs on leads are also welcome here, with up to two able to snuggle up in each tent. As well as the luxury bedding packs you can also book towels, fire kits, BBQ kits, celebration packs and mobile phone charging packs.

5m bell tents with a king size bed, two single airbeds and optional third. Gas stove, kettle and kitchen equipment. Outside is a table and chairs, a fire pit and BBQ. Bedding is not included. A private compost loo and shower are nearby. Dogs welcome.

The tents are set in a stunning location. I highly recommend getting the firelighter pack, we sat out for hours on a night with the log burner on. The tent had everything you need to keep cosy and plenty of games to keep the kids happy!

We had an absolutely wonderful few days/nights at Freespirit Glamping. The tipi was gorgeously set-up with everything we could possibly need and more. The site itself is beautiful and really well maintained by Andy & Helen. Given how spacious the site is and how spread out the tipis are, you can really enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the outdoors - our little pup Ruby particularly enjoyed her early morning walks round the field! The site is a lovely 15-20min walk into Helmsley which has so much to offer, including the open air pool and plenty of independent eateries & shops. This was our first family camping/glamping trip and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Freespirit - and already can't wait to go back again soon! Thank you Andy & Helen, such a pleasure to be guests at Stud Farm.
