Relaxed stay

Had a lovely stay here. Although very busy, they are very organised and as we were in a smaller field. Perran never felt crowded. Amazing walks for our dogs straight from the site. No long lists of rules printed everywhere which I hate to see. Staff all really helpful. The only downside was the Wi-Fi. I use Vodafone and really struggled to get any signal. You can pay onsite for their Wi-Fi but was an extra twenty pounds for a week.

Thank you very much for the lovely review. Very pleased you found the great walks for the dogs to the beach etc. We do try our best to give our guests a fantastic stay. Unfortunately, we don't have any control over Vodaphone, so can't do much about the signal strength and one of the main reasons we have Wi-Fi available across the whole site and this did cost a lot of money to install and to maintain. The cost of £20 for 7 days is for three devices which looking at other places, is value for money. It was a pleasure having you stay with us and we hope you come and stay again very soon.

Wonderfully located camp that has beautiful views

Thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Extremely friendly staff - they lent us some chocks and gave us some very helpful local transport advice. Fantastic location - 15 minute walk on a picturesque footpath down to Perranporth, lots of areas to walk dogs and 15 minutes to truly beautiful beach. Highly recommended.

Lovely, family run site

Would recommend to family and friends. Nice stay. Love the gate open when you use phone number. Nice, clean toilet and wet room.

Excellent site

Excellent site. Only thing we would say is our pitch was on a slope and our Air Tent didn't sit properly. Next time would ask for flat pitch.

Nice location

We just got back from a 7 night stay and really enjoyed it. A very friendly welcome.

Lovely, friendly place

I arrived in the middle of a rainstorm that was due to go on for the whole night and had already hiked from Newquay. so was feeling quite miserable! They found me a sheltered spot to keep out of the rain as much as possible and made sure I knew where all the facilities were. Super nice, friendly people. I made use of the tumble dryers on site to dry out some wet things, which was a huge help.

Lovely family campsite close to Perranporth

Spacious and clean. Local bus service into Perranporth with the most amazing beach and waves. Site had visiting street food van one night and pizza another. Herb garden and lovely children's park. Recommended.

Fab and friendly

The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The site was everything I look for - quiet and well maintained within easy reach of Perranporth itself. The staff were always happy to help with bus info, parking and even a step ladder to get the roof bag back on the car! I would readily return.

Nice place to stay

Nice place to stay for the night. Was on the pricier side for one night at £46.50 per night. Had a pizza takeaway van on site, which was nice.

Good first family camping experience

We enjoyed our stay, facilities were ample and adequate for our needs. Toilets and showers were clean. Has a play area and farm animal park which is a nice touch. Regular takeaway vans visit every week. The family block facilities are nicer than the other smaller one by reception. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

Lovely site with great facilities

Fab place for a holiday! The site is very well kept, lots of extra small touches, like vending machines, books to borrow, hot drink machine, freezer and microwaves, as well as the usual. Would certainly visit again soon, very happy!

Pleasant

The campsite grounds were nice with friendly staff and a very nice touch where they had food trucks came on certain days. Lovely to see the farm animals. However, the toilets were small and there was only two shower rooms for the plot where we were staying. The shower wall mount was extremely loose and when both showers and the washing up area was being used, the water pressure was extremely low so very difficult to wash. There was mould within the tiles and there was rubbish on the windowsill from when we first arrived and on the last day we stayed. The wash rooms very dated. We purchased the Wi-Fi for seven days but this kept dropping out and when enquiring about this, they suggested that we logged off and re-purchased and asked for a plot number and never responded to any other emails.

Nice camp - would go again!

Nice setting not far from the town. Pitches have plenty of room and are nicely set out across the site, not regimental straight lines. Toilets/showers very clean. Would hopefully come back again. Enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Hidden gem

Great little campsite. Facilities are little old, but perfectly clean with nice hot showers. On a regular bus route, and a nice walk downhill to the town and stunning beach. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice 2 night stay visiting friends in the area. Good facilities and handy for lovely walks.

Great site

16 amp hook-up, clean site, dog friendly and pitches not too close together. 2 shower and toilet blocks and washing facilities for food dishes and clothes. There was also a friendly warden who can offer advice and help.

Lovely site

This site was lovely for a 3-night stay. There is a bus stop directly outside so it was easy to explore the surrounding areas. There were lots of lovely walks in the area and a nice walk into Perranporth and the beautiful beach! We would definitely recommend this site and would stay again!

Lovely stay with all we needed, location was good except for the walk down to Perranporth due to no pavement and having to use tracks, not good for the old or infirm.

For guests who don't want to or would struggle with the walk to and from the beach we are on a main Newquay to Falmouth bus route, so two buses an hour to and from Perranporth. This is a service used by many of our guests. Hope to see you again soon.
