Lovely campsite
Backpacker Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Jul 2023 I had a lovely stay here. Excellent, clean facilities. Peacocks everywhere!

Small Tent - Family Playground Field Non Electric Pitches (Field 4) Jul 2023 Lovely campsite in a very attractive setting. Staff are friendly, peacocks are sociable and overall a very relaxing environment. Will certainly come back.

Large Tent - Family Playground Field Non Electric Pitches (Field 4) Jul 2023 Fabulous stay at Barn Farm. It helped that the weather treated us kindly, but the site was great. Great facilities, clean and friendly. We will definitely be coming back.
Excellent Campsite
Large Tent - Family Playground Field Non Electric Pitches (Field 4) Jul 2023 We have visited Barn Farm Campsite for the last 4 years and have always found it a lovely campsite. The facilities are great and are always kept clean. We shall use it again.
Great Location
Trailer Tent - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2023 Difficult to find fault with this site. Facilities are great, showers and toilets always clean and always hot water for showers. Great walks all round without the need to drive off site.
Only improvement I would suggest is that the shop could be open more often and better stocked.
10/10 - definitely recommend

If you are camping in the Peak District then I definitely recommend this campsite.

Fantastic campsite
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Jul 2023 This was our first stay at Barn Farm and we absolutely loved it.
The site is immaculate. Despite a lot of rain, the fields held up amazingly well and we had no issues moving about the site.
The facilities are spot on - clean toilets and showers, well-stocked shop and little extras that we wouldn't expect, but that made our trip all the more enjoyable.
We are already planning our next visit.

Good site and lovely location Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Jul 2023 It has to be said that the location is by far the best aspect of this site; stunning countryside with fantastic views and so many great places to visit within a few miles.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
The site was very quiet, with few campers which was actually quite nice as we'd expected that the site would be fairly booked up. I would imagine the facilities might have been a bit stretched if the site had been fully booked as the camping fields are extensive and, unless I'm mistaken, there is a total of 16 shower rooms available for the site.
We'd definitely come back as the negatives outweighed the positives by some way and as I mentioned, you cannot get much better location wise.
Barn Farm is an excellent base for DofE Expeditions

Great campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2023 No hot water in pot wash area and was very sporadic in the shower area
The private cubicles were nice. Mark was very helpful and friendly. Peacocks were lovely to see but can be noisy if you are in a tent. Take earplugs.
It's a bigger campsite than we would normally choose, but we were there for a wedding. The barns were great, the bigger one was fab for a get together with friends.
The one for a couple was really nice. This is a good all round campsite that can facilitate everyone's needs.
Perfect site!
Small Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Jul 2023 Brilliant campsite. Everything you need without being over commercialised. The added extra of the use of the barn in bad weather was fab and we were so grateful to have this warm, dry space.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Jul 2023 Fantastic site. Right next to village with two great pubs and bus services to Matlock and Bakewell. Also convenient for excellent walks. Lots of space on site with everything we wanted.
We will definitely return and recommend this site.
Peace and quiet
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2023 Not our first stay here, but such a marvellous location and with all the facilities you need! Be aware the (well stocked and good priced) shop doesn’t open on a Sunday, but otherwise it’s such a scenic place to rest and relax - and the local pub isn’t too far to walk either. Will be back again.
