Absolutely lovely campsite, in a wonderful location and lovely staff. Ideal location for exploring more of Norfolk, but also relaxing in the cafe and learning about the mill. A few more toilets/showers would be a great addition.

Lots of facilities for younger children. Could do with some more shower areas as there is only 2, but these were kept clean and tidy for the 3 days we were there.

Great - I just wish we had stayed longer! Really family friendly, so lovely to be able to roam about near animals and wake up next to them. Staff were very welcoming and although we didn't get chance to eat in the tea room it looked great and is perfect that it's on sight. Looking forward to coming back.

This was a lovely small campsite in a great location. The shower and toilet facilities were good and the onsite cafe was excellent. Just a small note ( not a criticism ) the campsite was very open with not much shelter, we were there on an unexpectedly chilly and windy weekend, and this was a factor when setting up and packing down. The Kings Head pub was within walking distance and their food and hospitality was beyond the norm…and lots of places to visit round and about. All in all a very good time was had.

Lovely spot, convenient for exploring Norfolk. Small shower/washing block but kept clean, despite the best attempts of some fellow campers! We really appreciated the fresh pile of shower mats, it made such a change from having to use a communal one or get out onto a wet floor. Also, the pile of clean tea towels for drying up. Great café and bakery - the bread is amazing and Elly was quick to respond to messages giving suggestions and recommendations for restaurants and pubs. Can thoroughly recommend the local Kings Head (walking distance) for takeaway pizza.

Stopped her after walking old Hunstanton. It was such a peaceful campsite, no sound from passing cars, remote and great to listen to birds and watch a deer or two. Would recommend.

What a little gem of a campsite. The pitches were very generous in size, the place was very quiet. The facilities are some of the best we’ve used, a proper shower is heaven! The bakery and cafe on site is also a perfect addition. We’ll be coming back for sure, thank you!

A lovely campsite on the grass and a good well draining surface. Lots of room given, it was nice, friendly and not over managed. A smashing little café/ tea room on site, there were lots of extra picnic tables, fire pits and seating areas. You can visit the lovely old Windmill at special camper rates, warm bread buns and cakes from the onsite bakery. Close to every good resort or town in North Norfolk, I will definitely come back.

A great find. The on-site bakery was amazing, the option to get involved and bake your own bread etc, was a nice addition. The campsite was very quiet, clean and had everything you could need.

What a lovely site. Windmill on site with working bakery, was so nice and great tearoom. First time travellers with a motorhome, this was a lovely peaceful site. Everything was there, even had tea towels you could borrow. Showers good. Great tearoom and the bread was so yummy 😋

The most expensive site I've stayed at, but well worth the money for the extra large pitches, great facilities and added bonuses like discounted entry to the mill. The nicest showers I've used on a campsite, and I liked the little extra touches like the pile of shower mats available for guests so I didn't have the usual struggle to get my feet dry. Stunning views of the windmill each morning and evening. The tearoom was great as well when we fancied a change from making our own breakfast. Definitely worth coming back to.

Great place to camp out. A pony, sheep and horse all in view with Pebbles (I think) the horse being very friendly. Pitch size good with an amazing view of the iconic Great Bircham Mill. Toilets a plenty with showers and a shepherd's hut with showers on-site. Clean water for my vital cuppa, while a games room with Sky to a pool table, toys and a place to just chill out. Could be modernised slightly but this is a place with lots going on. Breakfast was very good with milkshakes conveniently priced for extra choice. The bakery was buzzing with some great cakes to choose from. A trip up the mill and a chance to ring that bell at the top. As with most mills, some work on upkeep needs doing with more boarding on the first floor walk round, but a fantastic place to unwind with food and drink a plenty. All campsites were good and enough space for kids to play games. A new table and chairs on site would be useful to replace the old ones but the relaxing atmosphere and good spaced pitches provided were ideal for a camping trip. Keep up the good work Ellie and the team, as this place gives many of the visitors a happy and awesome place to visit or stay over.

Lovely quiet site. Good sized pitches. Friendly staff. Nice cafe onsite. Facilities need some TLC to be really good. Well equipped with lots of nice touches with shower mats and tea towels for use by campers. Nice games room available. Toilets and showers need properly cleaning on a regular basis as they were not the cleanest I have used, which is a shame as the rest of our visit was near perfection. However, I will definitely visit again.

We had a great time at Bircham Mill campsite. It's a great size (not too big) and well-equipped. There are a couple of kitchen areas, with fridges/freezers, microwaves and kettles, all free to use. Fun games room and fire pits to use (with your own charcoal). The mill is a good activity and having the tearoom nearby is very convenient. It's close to lots of popular locations and easy to get to the beach. Our kids made lots of friends and we had a brilliant time!

We stayed over the bank holiday with two adults and three children aged between 1 and 7. The campsite pitches were large, plenty of room. There was ample space for the kids to run around. Games room with kettle and microwave, multiple showers, toilets and fridges were a nice surprise. Having the tea room with the mill and activities onsite was a great plus and the kids really enjoyed exploring. Overall the campsite felt safe and was a great place for the kids to play with their friends. We would definitely come back in the future.

We stayed in one of the shepherd huts with our greyhound. We loved the delicious scones on arrival and we made good use of the outside cooking area and BBQ. There are a lot of thoughtful features, our view was of the field with a pony, donkey a sheep and chickens. The on site café serves a delicious breakfast.

A few more WC and showers would have been nice, but a it was a nice clean site. The café was fabulous, with good value for money on the cakes and all day breakfast.
