Clear filters Very chilled at this great site
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches (Adult Only) Aug 2025 Awesome site , adult site was so peaceful and relaxing, good pitch right next to water and electric, nice and flat , good service and owners were always available if needed , 10min walk from coop and 15min from some very lively great pubs . Everything was great really enjoyed and would highly recommend a stay there .
Interesting site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches (Family Friendly) Aug 2025 Firstly, the gentleman (Peter?) who runs the site, is friendly and ever present, he couldn't do enough for you. He is the main reason for the high scores, can't praise him enough.
The site is a mix of long term seasonaire caravans, predominantly older retired people. In amongst them are some hard standing gravel pitches with a few grass pitches in what is considered to be the Adults only area.
At the far end of the site is the grassed Wild West! We, retired couple in campervan, were initially allocated a pitch over there as it was empty, which was fine. The following day, start of bank holiday, when we arrived back from a day out, the family next to us had erected the largest tent in the world, encroaching onto our pitch and their guide lines came under our awning! We then realised they were part of a much larger group with similar sized tents who wanted to be together & needed the space. In fact, the whole area was full of enormous tents housing multiple families.
Rather than ask them to move their tents, Peter moved us to a different pitch.
After caravanning for 8 years prior to switching to a campervan a year ago, we'd never been on a site that permitted tents of any size or description and it's definitely something to be mindful of when booking as, without question, they change the dynamic of a site.
Caravans, motorhomes & campervans tend hold between 2 - 4 people, whereas some of these tents can accommodate up to 12 people. The facilities were clean, regularly inspected but looking a bit tired. Unfortunately, as is often the case, people have no idea how to conduct themselves in shared facilities!
There was an unfortunate problem with the water pressure during our stay affecting the availability of showers.
Llandovery itself is a lovely little town with many cafes and eateries and a short walk away. There's also a couple of supermarkets, some lovely independent shops, there's also a train station in the town.
In summary, an interesting site within easy access to many places and therefore a good place to base yourself. Having a well equipped town within walking distance from the site was an added bonus.

Lovely campsite
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches (Adult Only) Aug 2025 We really enjoyed staying at this campsite for the first time.
It was extremely clean and tidy with beautiful flowerbeds and trees. The amenities were very good, always clean and mostly working properly. The town of Llandovery is just a ten minute walk away and the local Co-op is only 5 minutes walk and has a good range of goods. The wardens are very helpful and often stopped by for a chat. Two minor downsides for me. The site is right next to the A40 so there was a bit of road noise at times, particularly at the weekend when hundreds of motorbikes seemed to pass through
Also, most places of interest quite a drive away so if you are like me and just want to park the car up when you go away, then you are a bit restricted for things to do. That said we will definitely be back for short break again.
Good location and well kept site
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Pitches (Adult Only) Aug 2025 Nice site and although it was peak time, the adult only field we were located in, was really peaceful. The amenity block was clean and there was plenty of hot water. It was easy to walk into Llandovery which had a good assortment of places to eat and drink and the large co op was virtually opposite the site so you didn't need to walk much on the road.
Pretty campsite
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches (Adult Only) Aug 2025 Erwlon is a pretty campsite with some flowerbeds and landscaping.
We chose to stay in the adults only area as we wanted peace and quiet, which is what we got except for some road noise, as the site is parallel to a main road, and some big, off-road type vehicles travelling through the site. It's conveniently located within walking distance to Llandovery.
We felt that the toilet and shower facilities were a little tired with several toilets and 1 of the 2 hand-dryers being out of order for the duration of our stay although, it must be said, they were very clean.
The site staff were very friendly. We'd happily return.

Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches (Family Friendly) Aug 2025 Gorgeous well kept grounds, clean and well stocked facilities, the owner (white beard) was very kind as he lent us his electric hook up as we forgot ours, he also rode around the site regularly checking in and chatting.
The site has co-op only a 5 minute walk and the town is a 10-15 minute walk. Lovely stay will be back soon!

Short walk 5-10 mins in to town you'll find lovely bars and restaurants. Everything needed for a great little stay. Highly recommend it.
Great site for Wild Camp
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches (Family Friendly) Aug 2025 I have had a relax day with my wife for her birthday as our last wild camping was about 38 years ago.
The camp site is peaceful and the facilities (toilet, bathroom, water and wooden bench) are exceeded our expectations.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. He showed me the way where to get the 16A 3-pin waterproof plug for electricity power supply connection. Hope to be come again in near future.

Service we received on check in was fantastic so helpful and we felt that every individual were given personal service. We certainly did.
I would definitely stay there again.

Immaculate site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches (Adult Only) Jul 2025 On arrival the site entrance was an abundance of flowers, efficient and friendly check-in with local information.
The site was very well maintained with friendly helpful site managers.
The toilet block has large ladies and men's toilets, ladies had individual sink area and two large showers, also 4 family bathrooms, all kept spotless with a large separate washing up room with washing machines, fridge freezer and iron.
There was different camping choices, adult only, electric and non electric with good free WiFi. Also a children's play area.
A separate dog walking strip onsite also to let the dog off lead.
The site was a 10 minute walk into a lovely village with shops, cafes and several lovely pubs serving great food, everyone we met were so friendly.
Gem of a site

What a beautiful site with excellent facilities and a short stroll into the village where there's many pubs eating places and shops. The site was very friendly. . The grounds of the site are so well kept amazing place and will definitely be returning.. There's also a large dog walking field.
Highly recommend this site. We will be back.

The washing facilities were very clean and easy to use. Reasonably priced washing and drying machines.
We have a motorhome and the filling of water and emptying of waste water was very easy to do.

Plenty of space between caravans for awnings etc. We only stayed for one night as a stop off on our journey, but it was perfect for us. Clean bathrooms/showers.
An honesty book shelf with books & DVDs to use was in the laundry room which I thought was a lovely touch.
