VW-Type Campervan - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2026 Excellent campsite. Non electric pitches at the top field had the most amazing views. Really clean & well run site. Staff were super helpful.
Perfect
Camping Pod - Camping Pod Aug 2026 We had a fantastic stay at this campsite and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a family holiday. The location is excellent, with everything you need close by and plenty to explore in the surrounding area. Our children absolutely loved it and had an amazing time from start to finish, which made our holiday even more enjoyable. The campsite was clean, well-maintained, and had a welcoming atmosphere. We would definitely love to come back!
Incredible break away!
Medium Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2026 Just got home from an amazing 3 night break. The campsite was incredible, clean, tidy and really well set out. Our host was awesome, very kind, friendly and attentive from the second we arrived. Really made us feel welcome. Facilities were top notch, great toilets and showers. Hot water on tap and plenty drinking water points. We will definitely come back. Views from the campsite are pretty special and not to be missed. All in a most excellent stay. Can't recommend enough!!
Family stay at Eisteddfa
Large Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2026 Overall an excellent stay for my family (4 adults, 2 Children). The site offers generous size pitches with ample space and is perfectly located for local towns (Criccieth and Porthmadog) for amenities. Spectacular views of Snowdonia and the west coast of Wales on offer aswell.
Main shower block was spacious and clean and 20p for 4mins in the shower. There is a small toilet block with washing area located next to the camping fields which was good.
The site would benefit from a similar main shower block nearer the camping areas. However the walk to main block was a mini inconvenience only. Also the addition of dog waste bins, located at the recycling points would also be beneficial.
Drew was very welcoming upon arrival and showed us to our two pitches and explained where everything was on the site. The fisheries next door offer great food and fishing for budding anglers and those more experienced alike.
First Camping Trip
Large Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2026 This was mine and my 7‑year‑old’s first ever camping trip, and saying it was fantastic honestly feels like an understatement. We took a 6‑person tent, had electric hook‑up for 4 nights, and were treated to absolutely stunning views throughout our stay.
We were pitched right next to a block with toilets and a washing‑up sink — clean, convenient, and perfect for families.
But the real standout was the main shower and toilet block. For a campsite, it was outstanding: great showers, spotless toilets, and everything kept very clean at all times.
The location couldn’t have been better.
10–15 minutes to Porthmadog, 5 minutes to Criccieth, Shops, food, pubs, beaches all close by
We packed our days with adventures: visiting the copper mines, fishing on the campsite, exploring the local castle, and enjoying plenty of beach time.
The owner was always happy, pleasant, and genuinely present around the site. They were consistently helpful and checked in on everyone, which made the whole experience feel welcoming and safe — especially for first‑time campers.
I would fully recommend this campsite, especially if you’re new to camping or looking to build confidence with your first few trips. We’re 100% returning.

Beautiful landscape
Large Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2026 Our pitch offered a gorgeous view of the bay and surrounding hills. A toilet and dishwashing block was a short distance from our pitch. The children enjoyed the small playground. Shower block was very clean and 20p for 4 minutes was plenty (hot showers were a camping luxury!)
The campsite was very neat and tidy and the owners were present on the campsite everyday. There was plenty to do nearby so in a really good location.

First camping trip a success
Large Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2026 We booked this site for our first family trip mainly due to cost and location, but it has offered so much more.
Located just off the main road the tent with electric hook up pitches are located at the back of the site, but offer the best views of Cardigan Bay.
Pitches have great space around them allowing peace and also social aspects of camping. The site is immaculate, shower and wash facilities are cleaned to a high standard. Make sure to bring 20p and plenty of them for the shower access.
All in all, a fantastic site and amazing beaches on your doorstep. We will be back and so are the plans of the families that we have spoken with.
Final note, if you're a retired couple with a campervan that you have just bought - expect kids on campsites, your dogs are more of an issue 🤣

Lovely site,, great location... Large Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2026 Immaculate shower block and utility room. Kids playground was great for our daughter busy on a evening after a busy day out sight seeing.. Moving onto that, location was excellent, with portmadog 10 mins.... The owners son Ben, was very friendly and always happy to help if needed...

All the facilities are beautifully maintained, exceptionally clean and the owners very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and hopefully will be able to revisit soon. Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2026 We had a fantastic stay at this campsite! The tent pitch offered amazing sea views that made every morning and evening special.
The toilet and shower facilities are top-notch: spotlessly clean with powerful, hot showers that are a real treat after a day out. There’s also a great little park/play area for the kids, which kept them entertained. All the staff are extremely helpful.
Best of all, it’s only a very short drive to Criccieth, perfect for castle visits, beach days, and fish & chips. Highly recommend – we’ll definitely be back!

Lovely quiet vibes, clean spacious toilets with powerful showers. Owner was lovely and gave us local recommendations which was perfect for us. Lovely towns close by. Will be recommending to friends and family!

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2026 What an amazing site, loved our stay.
This site met all our requirements, the husband wanted fishing on site and I wanted to be close to the beach - couldn't have chosen anywhere better.
Everything on site is so well cared for, the grounds are immaculate and the toilets and showers are spotless. Bins are located in each bay for all recycling which is collected daily by the owner of the site. The touring fields have stunning views of the sea and Harlech. Originally I booked non electric, thinking that our solar panel would suffice in this weather, but then changed our mind, a quick email and all was sorted. An email was received on booking with site information. On arrival, there is a board outside reception informing you which field to pitch on and also a handy map showing all site features, playground, dog walking area, showers etc.,
We ventured down to the café at the Fishery on our first morning and had a full English breakfast, which was so good, we didn't eat again until 6:30, then on to the fishing lakes which again were superb, on site hire of equipment if needed and bait available to buy from the shop.
There is a small pool outside the café for children to fish on and also a family lake, then there are various other lakes, we went onto the carp lake and spent a couple of very happy chilled days fishing and watching the heron.
There is a bus stop outside the site and a trip into Criccieth costs £1.50 so saved unhitching the awning from the camper.
All in all, we had a great time, lovely chats with fellow campers and just bliss with the peace and quiet, thank you, we will definitely be back.
