Fabulous
Twin Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches (Adult-Only) Sep 2023 Fabulous site, great location, easy access to the beach and very peaceful.
The wardens maintain the facilities to a high standard too which makes the stay very comfortable.
Will definitely return to the site and the area.
Fabulous stay
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Pitches (Adult-Only) Sep 2023 We have had a lovely 3 day stay at Mr Moo's.
We booked a grass pitch & it was plenty big enough for our car, caravan & awning. Percy's Paddock is adults only, so it's been fantastic to just sit out on the grassed area with like minded old fogeys like us (we're not old really).
The site facilities have always been clean, nice hot showers & big rooms to shower without wetting your stuff. The pot washing area was good but it was under a tree or something, not undercover, and bits from the tree covered the area, so you had to swill it all down before washing your pots & not good in the rain.
The couple running the site were lovely. He had many a story to tell as he regularly toured the site on his buggy and stopped for a chat. Just a stone's throw away is Mr Moo's ice cream parlour and obviously we had to sample one (they were so good we actually had two). A 15min walk in flip flops at the side of the site & we were on the beach.
Saturday and Sunday, there were a few people with families, but on Monday it was quite secluded. We sunbathed, paddled, ate our picnic there. A really nice few hours. Not that there are no toilet facilities there though. The trip to the supermarket in Hornsea was horrendous. It was Sunday and yet so much traffic - a journey we did only once thankfully. We also went to Skirlington market on Sunday. Wow, it was big, with car booters & traders. If there was something you needed you'd get it there.
We will definitely go back to Mr Moo's. We've had a brilliant stay.
Lovely site near the sea
Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches (Adult-Only) Sep 2023 Site clean and well maintained. Liked the individual showers and toilet cubicles. Although unisex, they were not communal.
Great campsite
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches (Adult-Only) Aug 2023 Lovely campsite with excellent, clean facilities and great ice cream. Easy access to the beach for dog walking and even a dog washing area.
Tranquil and welcoming
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches (Adult-Only) Aug 2023 Such a spacious site. Well maintained and clean. Keith was so relaxed and hospitable.
Mr Moo's ice cream parlour on site and café is a bonus. The half mile woodland walk to Withow Gap was equally well maintained and easy to access with plenty of dog bins too. Beach is very quiet and expansive.
Recommend a 10 minute stroll into Skipsea for a meal & drink at The Board Inn. Plus any ice cream you fancy on site - they're all yummy.
Just the job for peace and relaxation.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches (Adult-Only) Aug 2023 Very clean and organised place, close walking distance to the sea. Place for adults, kids and CL members. Be sure before you book if you need electric hook up, as not all pitches are equipped. Very tasty breakfast 😋

Enjoyable stay at Mr Moo's
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches (Adult-Only) Aug 2023 Lovely stay here at Mr Moo's, welcomed on arrival by Keith, who told us a bit about the site and the nice walk down to the sea.
Nice, large hardstanding pitch for our motorhome, the grass around the whole site was maintained really well. Once we were plugged in and set up we noticed how quickly the site filled up, very popular!
Down to the sea we went, nice woodland walk, some of the ground maybe a bit unstable, especially if you are not too steady on your feet! Our dog loved it! Another day we ventured into Skipsea (20 mins walk) for a carvery at the Board Inn, dog friendly which has got to be for us!
Now then let's not forget, right outside the site is Mr Moo's ice cream parlour, very popular with everyone, car park was always full and even the overflow carpark used! Extremely tasty Rum n Raisin in a choc dipped cone for me please, and hubby had raspberry razzle in a choc dipped cone yum yum.
Well maintained, friendly, lovely campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches (Adult-Only) Aug 2023 Thoroughly pleasant, well set out campsite. Plenty of room between pitches. A friendly welcome from the owner and Keith and his wife. A lovely, reasonably priced breakfast available at the ice cream parlour adjacent to the site.
The site was impeccably clean and very well maintained. The beach is a short walk away down a farm track.
There were individual shower/toilet cubicles. A few more with some higher grade fittings would be a welcome improvement.

Lovely, clean site

Close to a quiet beach, local bus service, local pub & its own ice cream parlour!!
There are plenty of toilets & showers.
Local walks through a woodland to a beach, which goes all the way to Hornsea. There is also a bus that takes you into Hornsea if you don’t fancy the walk along the beach.
